So I much prefer the Hori Split controllers than the joycons when playing the switch in handheld mode, but traveling with this I needed to constantly remove them to make it more portable and safe, this hard case not only fits the switch with these still attached, but also provides game store for up to 20 game cards and a load more in a zipped net area in the top of the case (that can fit cables and more), all while providing great protection for carry the switch around. There's no fancy design on the front or back, but that's some that I'm more than happy with, great case at a good price that has solved my switch travel problems

The case fits my switch with Hori split pad pro attached. It seems well designed and well built, providing protection and plenty of room for games and accessories. Great functionality, I am very happy with my purchase.

This case is specifically to use along side the hori split controller, but fits like a glove with plenty space for games and other peripherals. The case feels very sturdy and had a handle so offers both protection and convenience when transporting and storing the switch.

Nintendo has a storied history when it comes to controllers and the Joy Cons for Switch are no exception. That being said, I don't like using them. As soon as the Split Pad Pro alternative was available, I snapped up a pair ASAP! I knew a case that fit both the Switch and Split Pad Pro would be hard to find until I came across this item. For a while I was using a Hori Metal Hardcase to store my Switch which is fine, but it can't store the Split Pad. I was forced to store my Switch with Joy Cons attached in my metal case and store my Split Pad somewhere else. I bought this case and its made things a lot easier. It stores the Switch with Split Pad easily and you get stacks of space for other stuff like cables, games, battery packs etc. A great purchase if you already own a pair of Split Pad Pros.

I should have bought this sooner. I’ve been removing the Hori pads each time I put the console in its Skull & Co case. No complaints about that case, and you can definitely fit the Hori pads in there once detached, but it’s a faff. So, this case is a welcome convenience. The console fits well and securely. There is room for game cartridges if you need it, but I use a separate case that fits neatly in the mesh storage area. The only thing I’ll say that detracts from the overall utility of the case is that you can’t really keep the official JoyCons in the mesh area at the top. If you do, when you close the case, the analogue sticks push down when bumping up against the Switch, and I don’t want to wear them out in that way. Had the case had a bit more depth, this would have been easily solved, but there’s a tradeoff, as it would then be nearly as thick as the Skull & Co case, which is itself quite large when placing in a bag, etc. So, I’ve just removed the JoyCons and stored them elsewhere, as I’m unlikely to need them on the go. However, for those monsters out there that enjoy playing the Switch with claw hands while it’s on its kickstand, you may need to look for another case that can accommodate the JoyCons.

This hard shell case fits not only the Hori Split Pad Pro but also my Nyxi controllers perfectly. It’s well-constructed, provides solid protection, and the extra slots for games and accessories are a huge plus. Perfect for keeping everything organized on the go.

I got myself the Hori game pads for my switch because my hands were suffering from the standard joycons. But… none of my cases would fit! I could disconnect them but I truly don’t want to use the joycons ever again and it’s a very minor inconvenience to swap them over when travelling. This case is perfect, especially if you’re going on holiday or are going handheld for an extended period. The switch fits very comfortably with the pads attached, there’s a little strap to keep it in place, but most importantly there is a soft flappy thing that goes over the screen when in the case. It has space for 20 carts and a zipped compartment for headphones, cables, bus tickets etc. (don’t actually store your bus ticket in here). Finally, I have no idea why I was asked to rate battery life. This does not have a battery.

This is the perfect fit for the (oled) switch with the hori grips. Nice soft materials inside and a lot of room in the top zipper pocket for small accesoires like cable and earbuds

Llevo bastante tiempo con mi Nintendo Switch, utilizando los pads originales hasta hace poco sin mayores dificultades. El problema es que hace unas semanas empezó a darme problemas el stick izquierdo del pad original, el cual además no es que sea el más ergonómico del mercado, ya que como lo utilices durante varias sesiones de juego, las manos acaban algo tocadillas. Fue el momento perfecto y clave para adquirir los Hori Split pad, de los cuales tenía muy buenas referencias, ya que su manejabilidad se acerca mucho a un pad de calidad como puede ser el de Microsoft. El caso es que al instalar estos nuevos mandos, la funda antigua ya no me servía, por lo que decidí adquirir este modelo adaptado a mi nueva adquisición. Debo decir que, tras utilizar la funda en mis viajes durante un tiempo, estoy más que satisfecho con sus prestaciones. Es robusta, vistosa y con materiales de grandisima calidad. Se me cayó un día con la Switch dentro y no le pasó absolutamente nada. No tiene tamaño de más, es decir, ocupa el tamaño exacto para no añadir mucho más volumen por si tienes que llevarla en una mochila (como es mi caso). Por mi parte y si tienes estos pads de Hori, esta funda es una grandisima opción a tener en cuenta.

Die Tasche ist gut verarbeitet. Es hat Platz für eine große Anzahl von Spielen. Meine Switch ist gut geschützt und vor allem passt hier auch das Ladekabel rein. Muss ich es nicht mehr extra einpacken. Tragegriff ist nützlich, um es komfortabel zu tragen.
