Cetaphil Baby Soothing Wash, 5 Ounces

I am normally not loyal to a specific brand, but I admit that this product helps my baby's skin stay soft and supple. He had severe eczema and with continuous use along with good ol' petroleum jelly, his skin is back to baby soft. Now I have this on subscription and will use it until he graduates to next product.

Creamy and gentle. My sons' eczema hasn't necessarily improved with the use of this product, but it also hasn't aggravated it. It lathers well and a little goes a long way. It rinses off easily and doesn't dry out his skin.

I bought this for my husband to try for his hands. They had a dry, red, itchy patch that irritated him just in the last few months. Moisturizers weren't working, neither was coconut oil or Vaseline. I took a guess that it could be eczema and bought a few baby eczema creams/soaps since we just had a baby and wanted it to not irritate her skin when he held her. Using this when he washes his hands has cleared up his hands and wrists completely! It isn't the most pleasant smelling soap, but he doesn't need girly smelling hands anyway. It's definitely worth the cost!

This products is intended for babies & small children. It doesn't claim to be tear free but most people "assume" baby soap is tear free. It does work well if you can just use it on the bad spots and not on the face, which is inconvenient but a great way to use the bottle if you bought It assuming it was tear free. It does burn the eyes painfully. On older children or adults who can actively avoid soap in the eyes, it should be fine.

I like this product and use it in conjunction with the Cetaphil Baby Eczema Calming Lotion. My son has a "pretty good case of eczema" according to our pediatrician. But if I'm vigilant about using this in the bath every other day, and using the lotion daily, it keeps the eczema under control and baby feels fine. We were given a referral to a pediatric dermatologist, but so far I haven't made an appointment because I feel like the Cetaphil products are working well for us. I also use 1% hydrocortisone on the worst spots (bends in arms and legs).

The bottle came with the cap broken and there was no way we could fix it to the bottle.The body wash itself is good.

I got this for my 3 yr old niece who suffers from eczema on her hand, feet and arms. This is the only wash that you see noticeable difference. It doesn't dry out her skin which in turns gives her some relief from scratching and causing any open sores. I just wish the bottle wasn't so damn small since this is being used to give both my nieces a bath. I highly recommend this for any child suffering from eczema

This product is indicated for babies as young as 3 months, yet it’s not tear free. Nor is this indicated on the front. It was my fault for assuming, but every single baby soap/shampoo/sunblock I have ever cone across is always tear free. I found out the hard way with this product, as my baby started screaming in the bath- he had some on his hands and rubbed his eyes. Then on the back in small print it has a warning about not allowing contact with eyes. I will be returning the second bottle I bought.
