The D20 doesn't light up at all. The D12 was painted so poorly you can't read part of the numbers. The D4 you have to shake like crazy to get three out of four numbers to light up. Poorly made and a very poor feel when roll them so I'm not sure the rolls are fair.Great concept but the execution is poor you'd be better off with some bargain basement dice than to waste money on these.I love gimmick dice but this is one gimmick to avoid.

My son has wanted light up dice for a while. While the idea is very cool, I am disappointed that these arrived with D12 already not functioning. I submitted a replacement request but I don't expect much longevity on the light up function based on my experience thus far.

First set of dice, d20 was defective. Seller was quick to send a free replacement set. Second set of dice, one die was defective. Overall, positive experience with the seller. The dice work great once you have a working set. For the other reviewers mentioning battery life/rechargeability: the 8 hours means continuous motion. If you actually read the product description and dice when you get them, you'll notice these will last for thousands upon thousands of rolls.

I bought these as a gift for my DND loving brother… He Just open them and loves them so much. You definitely will want to pick these up for your game loving friends —it makes for a perfect gift!

the only thing that stopped me from giving this a 5 star is that sometimes the dice take a bit too much force to actually make them light up. and it feels like the light inside might be fading slightly? its an awesome novelty. and i use it once every other week

Very plastic with a rattle thing inside. They have limited battery as stated but they are already set to go so are "Rolling" the entire shipping process. You get what you pay for. Light up dice are cool.

They all roll really well and are easy to see. Only problem is the D6 doesn't work. I'm hopingthe company will work with me about that.**I messaged the company about the dice and they were quick to respond and offer a solution.

I like them but the D20 and D6 failed to light up. I guess there is no simple battery swap or recharge so ill still use them but a bit disappointed
