It was a snug fit but I really struggled getting the inside screws back into the handles. I think some engineer thought that not extending the screw shaft out from the middle section was not a big deal, but for me I could have said some bad words. After an hour of trying I finally got one started..

The product fit perfectly and operated easily upon initial installation. It provided a very secure deadbolt for a newly installed exterior door.

Turns your standard Kwikset lock set to one that functions in mobile home doors. Not much to say.

had to replace a broken one.

I purchased this conversion kit because my door only had a round hole for the deadbolt lock and I did not want to modify my door to fit the recessed style that Kwikset locks come with. This kit worked perfectly in my door without any modification.

Have not used this part yet, but be advised this item is for a 2 3/8 backset only, as described.
