Seems a bit overpriced but feels nice from the fridge on a hot fay
Mine arrived with no cracks and just some natural variations in color and texture. I keep it in the fridge and use it chilled on a hot day. I didn’t burn it to test its authenticity but it does have a faint odor.

6 star GUASHA Scraping Board
it's a real horn from the cow. I burned with lighter a little bit at the corner. the protein smells come out. it confirms its real horn made as an authentic Chinese guasha scraping board.

Larger than typical guasha stones
The Natural African Buffalo Horn guasha tool came coated with an unpleasant smelling vegetable oil to protect it from cracking, as explained in the listing description. The oil came off easily with some warm water and soap. As for the guasha, it's larger and lighter than my other guasha stones. The size fits well around the neck and décolletage.

Oily surface
I'm unsure if it is supposed to have an oily residue on the surface but it came sealed in something that is stinky and oily, I have washed it several times and whatever is on there doesn't seem to be coming off. The item does feel sturdy and smooth and whatever is on it doesn't seem to bother my skin but I have sensitive break out prone skin so I am not sure how much I will use it if I cannot get it clean.

Nice body tool
I was surprised when I opened the plastic pouch this came in. The tool was "pre-oiled" with what smelled like motor oil. Once I washed it with soap and hot water, however, it is a fine tool. Of course, being made of organic material, no two will be alike, and mine is rather plain and clear and the color of topaz. I enjoy using this type of body tool to relieve tension and even stimulate lymph flow. I have a similar but much larger, wooden tool that I use on legs, arms, and torso. This one is perfect for face and neck and, to a certain extent, on arms.

Fabulous! Smooth Horn Guasha Tool For Self Massage. My Favorite!
I don't know if it's a real horn. I did not burn mine to verify that this is made of real horn. It was shipped in a plastic bag with oil. After I washed it and dried it off, I did smell it a bit. And it does have a natural smell to it. The material has been shaped and highly polished. All the surfaces and edges are super smooth. I use this massager with facial oil. I think when used, the horn material will get enough oil to stay moisturized. Horn is a natural material. It's the same idea as polishing and moisturizing your leathers or oiling a wooden cutting board. I like the color and look. It's really beautiful.Unlike my stone or steel guasha massagers, this one is not as cooling. But this one is bigger than all the others. It feels really nice in the hand. It is also a lighter and less dense material than steel or stone and is easy to hold. This tool is great for facial massage and for working out knots in the face and neck muscles and it helps to reduce swelling and increase circulation. For my face, I use this in conjunction with a face oil and rinse and dry it afterward. I also started to use it on my knees that swell up sometimes (exercise plus old age, I guess). I use baby oil and then the tool to perform scraping massage motions around the tissue surrounding my knees. Now they don't swell up as often anymore!I have several made of black onyx, green jade, and stainless steel... This horn one is by far my favorite guasha massager.
