Great hammer for a kid
It is a medium size hammer. It works as described and is reasonably strong when used for breaking stones and minerals by a kid. Our kid is completely happy with it.

Seems like good construction although it had tool marks in it
Seems like good construction although it had tool marks in it. For something that's brand new I would have expected to put my own marks in to it. Will be giving it a good workout in a week or two forging and will know then if its quality steel.

Good quality and price
Very happy with my choice. This is a well made and balanced geologists hammer. Feels heavier than it's weight. This is good as I was recommended this weight for an adult's fossil hammer but was worried it would not be man enough.Good price and prompt delivery.Recommend the product and supplier.
