Super Giant Sunflower Seeds in Pictorial Packet Helianthus Uniflorus Giganteus

These grew like wildfire in our little pots indoors. Unfortunately either the wind or birds broke them stems on all 6 as soon as they were put outdoors, but they grew big and fast up until then! The rest of the seeds went home in pots of soil as party favours!

At 10 feet they will be spectacular. Use netting when hardening them off outside before transfer to large pots (they do best in the ground but not possible in my tiny concrete back yard, so proper watering critical) as the wood pigeons like the seedlings! Looking forward to a beautiful show if successful, 18 plants. I also gave seedlings to friends, sunflowers are so happy looking! Spread some joy!

quick growing good value for money?

Absolutely amazed at the height of these ,excellent sunflowers and great quality. I planted seeds directly outside April and this is the result, fantastic and bees love them.

These stopped growing at around 20cm and I have no clue why. I had a different species which I planted exactly the same and they are now a few feet tall. These ones only produced one pair of leaves and look like XL cress

I planted 4 of these and they are growing well

I planted mine late in the year, put a few seeds down and wasn't expecting anything really. Two grew, they grew quite fast. The bees and wasps were very grateful as quite a few visited them. I will update this post next spring when I'll plant all the seeds. Lovely bright yellow colour.
