Just works
Replaced gtx 1060 display adapter with rtx 4060 display adapter in an older personal computer.

Needed this to upgrade my graphics card instead of buying a new power supply, works amazing, priced very well, shipped quickly, great quality, only downside is that its ugly so if you need it for somethijg vidually appealing you might want to reconsider, other than thag the wire was great and fit perfectly, easy installation.

Worked for XPS 8940 360W PSU
I have a Dell XPS 8940 that only has a 360W power supply. I wanted to upgrade my graphics card without upgrading my PSU (power supply unit) but options were pretty limited for what card I could power. My system came with a GTX 1660S which has a pretty small power requirement and the newest card I could find with a similar power requirement was the RTX 4060. It's basically twice as powerful with the same power draw. One problem. I only have a 6 pin power connection. After researching I found this product and thought I'd give it a shot. It worked perfectly! It's not the prettiest cable but you can't see it in my stock dell case. Seems very sturdy as well and again, it works. Not sure how great it is with a card with higher power requirements but it was perfect for me. 5 stars.

Works as advertised!
This did what it needed to do! I was upgrading my GPU and it requires an 8-pin power cable, and while my 500W power supply (older PC) has an 8-pin, it is feeding the motherboard, so I needed to use one of the available 6-pin and this adapter made it work perfectly.

Not pretty but it functions as intended
Got a new GPU card which requires an 8-pin power plug, and my power supply only has 6-pin PCI cables.This works perfectly for what I needed it for. I think it's not 5-star-worthy only because the wires are a bit longer than necessary IMO and a bit stiff; also if I cared more about aesthetic in my PC case I'd want some kind of cable wrap to hide the unfashionable wire portion.

Know your application
These are great 1. for non-standard power supplies that can supply more than 75W on a 6-pin connector (ex: some HP Z420 power supplies), and 2. for lower power GPUs that have 8-pin connectors on their PCBs and could of gotten by with a single 6-pin connector due to their low board power requirements (ex gtx 1660s, rtx 3050).
