Adventure Awaits! - Handmade Wooden Gold Dragon Shield x2 Toy Sword x2 Combo - Sturdy and Lightweight Wood Toy Swords Shields Set for Outdoor Play

The title led me to believe this was a small business on Amazon, so I ordered these based on that and the fact that they were wooden. They are made in china, they come with a sticker that blatantly says this on all the pieces. The set is 2 swords and 2 shields. The shields lost their strap exactly one day after my children opened these Christmas morning. It is a cute set, my kids still play with it without the strap but it's only a matter of time before they are broken, its plywood that they are made with, nothing sturdy like I had hoped for. Would I have purchased had I known all of this? Probably not.

So my boys were so excited to to get these, but the shields fell apart the first 2 mins(literally the straps came off) and the swords have cracked and have pieces missing the first day. The boys are 4 and 5, so these aren’t used heavy. Just running around the back yard swinging at grass. We are pretty disappointed.

The handle on the shield broke within 5 minutes of play between dad and 10-year old son. The sword broke on day 2 leaving behind dangerously splintered wood. Was this for decoration only?

My son loved these so much! The only complaint I have is, the shield strap broke before his first use, he opened it and when he went to hold the shield, the strap broke. 🥺On the second shield, the strap broke pretty quickly as well. I'll have to figure out how to put straps back on but overall it's cute and my son loves it, just wishes he could actually use the shield.
