This Book Is Drunk: The Madman Who Sailed from Miami to Boston on a Sunfish Sailboat! Paperback – December 18, 2012

I can't believe this guy did all the hair raising stuff in this crazy book!! I guess being high and drunk gave him the courage to sail his tiny Sunfish sailboat through extremely dangerous Atlantic seas. I thoroughly enjoyed it and, being a 71 year old sailor myself, I want to take a few risks now and sail across Mobile Bay...but it should only take 2 beers for me.

The book is an easy read. Takes place in the 70's. The main author is a bit of a party animal. The story it self is hard to believe and I'm trying to verify it actually did happen. I enjoyed researching each area he sailed upon. I found the book because I've been obsessed with Sunfish sailboats.

Not written well. Thought it would be exciting about someone sailing in a sunfish. However it turned out to be someone just wanting to get high. Not impressed.

My husband and I LOVED this book. What an amazing stoned & drunk adventure James Lee Meadows had. Can't wait for future stories! Easy read, fun & I loved reading about places I've been!
