I was leery because the description says to use it for a month and discard.... Just....EWWW. I put one in the laundry and laid it flat to dry and it was just fine. My hubby took it one step further and accidentally put it in the dryer.... It also survived quite well. As for the exfoliating... Yes it's a rough texture, but if it is hurting you, use a lighter hand! I've read some of these reviews that it was too harsh. Yes, I'm a tough chick, but not THAT tough! I like them.

No rough on my skin but not soft either. I love that it changes color indicating time to replace.

Excellent abrasive product to exfoliate the skin

Love the exfoliating texture! I have them on automatic delivery. I have ditched washcloths and loofahs for these. Hold soap well. Dry quickly. Hang from the tag. Last the whole month without falling apart. A little expensive but I think they are worth it.

A good alternative to a loofah with more abrasion but not too much and doesn't fall apart like a loofah.

I love this scrubber. I need to use a strong scrubber to adequately exfoliate my oily skin, or I get itchy, etc. I used a drug store “pouf” for years and they never lasted more than a few months before becoming unusable. This scrubber is different. It is very well designed and made, and promises to last years. The foam inside it is kind of a memory foam and holds soap very well. The abrasive envelope is woven with built in tiny loops of tough fabric, not grit, so it should last very well. (It’s been a few weeks, and so far, good!) The hand strap is also abrasive La textured, and the hanging loop is adequately sized. Material choices are very good. I use one, I put the other in our outdoor shower, and the tiird in the guest bathroom shower. This is a perfect choice for my big hands, and smooth skin! LOVE it. Bye-bye Poufs!

I bought these and put them in each shower and my husband has been the one to use them the most. I will say after a few months of use I felt it was time to replace them with new ones. Not sure if that’s the appropriate amount of time but it seemed reasonable to me.

Yikes! I did want something that was a little more exfoliating than the pad that I was using. I had a high hopes for these, but they really seem more like something you would scrub your dishes with.
