These little alarms are worth their weight in gold. Very startling loud. I just spent 3 nights and four days in the edge of the lake fishing for catfish, I propped my poles up on a pole prop. Set my boat anchor on the end of the poles to weight them down, loosened my drag and put these alarms on. I could spend the day doing whatever around the camp. Tinkering on my boat or asleep in the cab of my truck at night cause it was raining. These things will wake you up. Step out and fish on. I fished non stop for 4 days and three nights. Caught a ton of nice size catfish. These thing work very well. I will never use a jungle bell on my pole tip again.

I went catfishing at my local lake and decided to try this fish alarm. Normally I used fishing bells to alert me that a fish is on. After casting my line in the water and like most of us who have smartphones you'll be surfing the net, playing games, etc., basically we're pretty much distracted right?My fish alarm goes off and I just chuckled & shook my head while reeling in a 4lb. catfish. The second alert was I was walking a way to get something from the car and hear this alarm and said to myself who's stupid alarm is that? WAIT!! it's my stupid alarm...LOL. A fisherman who was maybe 80-100 feet away from me, came up and said, "dang I heard you alarm." So he asked where I got it and name of the brand. This will be perfect for night fishing too. The wind started to pick, but my alarm did not go off, which was a good thing.Cons: Have spare batteries on hand, you will need a rod holder to keep your rod firm and steady, only one alarm tune, no volume settings or tension settings. If you have an ultralight fishing rod, you will most likely need to bulk up the area where you plan to attach this alarm.Pros: You can take a nap, play with your smartphones, read a book, daydream, and this will really come handy for night fishing (the blue LED light will flash if you have a fish on), alarm is loud enough to be heard 50 feet away. Although it does not have a volume settings or tension setting it was not a deal breaker for me, why? The product worked at least for bank fishing.Four devices for under $20 was worth it. I would recommend this to family and friends. Happy fishing folks and don't be alarmed when you have a fish on.

Fits like a glove on any rod and is pound as could be, great if your casting works and whatnot but in throwing 4-6 oz sinkers for big catfish and Amy tenesion from the current will make the alarm go off. So I can’t use them for most hardcore catfish but I still use them fishing in the shallows for Channles and whatnot they do the job just very sensitive

Very sensitive and sometimes a little too sensitive. Depending on the rod I'm using, the tension won't allow me to set up the alarm without going off. However, when I'm able to set these alarms, they work great!

I LIKED THAT THE ITEM IS NOT TOO BIG ,BUT LOUD ENOUGH.AND TO CHANGE BATTERIES PUT 2 IN AND SANDWICH THE 3RD. BETWEEN THE FIRST 2 GIVE A LITTLE PUSH AND THE SHOULD ALL SLIDE IN WITH EASE.

I like the fact that these are cheap and they work very well the noise they produce when you are getting a bite on your fishing pole is very loud especially if you are fishing near the river you need to be able to hear something using multiple poles this makes it very easy to distinguish which Pole has the fish on it

Do a lot of night fishing for cats and musky. These are a game changer. Now we can sit by the fire and listen to music all night instead of trying to remain quiet as we listen for bells.Line control takes a little getting used to, but these have made it on a bunch of river trips and keep on ticking.

I love this product, I use it for fishing all the time. It works perfectly
