Tommaso La Forma Lightweight Aluminum Hybrid Bike, Carbon Fork, 27 Speed, Shimano Acera

I love my Tommaso bike. I had a fifteen year old Ross Mt Pocono bike and felt like I needed a new ride. Scouring Amazon I came across this nice priced bike. The bike looks and rides beautiful. Fast and smooth . The finish is fantastic and the components seem to be of very good guality. I am basically a casual rider, but feel the bike is pretty light and enjoy my time riding it. Great bike. I did take it to my local bike shop for set up as apparently Giant Nerd cannot do their ready to ride build for bikes bought through Amazon. That cost me an additional seventy-five bucks, but worth it. I love my Tommaso La Forma !

Not only is this bike beautiful, it also fits me perfect ,and it is rides amazingly, smooth and easy to ride. 100 stars !

We are extremely pleased with our Tommaso La Forma Lightweight Aluminum Fitness bike. The bike arrived in a large secure box, delivered to our 5th floor apartment in excellent condition. We immediately took the bike over to a professional cycle shop. The owner confirmed we had made a great purchase, even stated he could not have beaten the price we paid on Amazon, especially with free shipping! My husband rides the bike 5+ days a week and is very happy with the purchase. The bike is well constructed, gears shift smoothly, the tires are above average, and the seat is very comfortable. My husband is 6'1"; 245 lbs. He gives it a 10+.

Love this bike! Had a Trek for 20 years and it was recently stolen. Decided to try something new (change is good). Really happy with this bike. Quick delivery, mostly assembled except for handle bar, pedals, and front tire. Easy set up, Didn't really need to tune anything. The bike rides quiet and smooth. Would definitely do business with GiantNerd, and would also recommend Tommaso bikes. Very happy!

ok for its price point. My bike arrived with couple of issues1. The front queue is not "true" - it is wobbling when turn2. the front brake is skewed to one side (left)3. The adjuster could not change to the biggest gear - I had to watch youtube instruction and adjusted it

I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. In the end what won me over (before actually buying and trying it) were a few things:For context I'm 5'11" in height and opted to have the bike professionally assembled when ordering.1. The frame is made of aluminum and so makes the bike relatively lighter compared to other types. I can carry this bike up and down stairs without an issue. After numerous rides you will start to get a feel on how to handle the bike based on different speeds. The frame has no issues and feels very solid, so I don't think I will be needing any repairs on that for a very long time.2. The handlebar is very comfortable to use. I prefer straight handlebars in general so I may be a bit biased. However I feel the comfort is just right here. The gear levers are easy to use and the actual handles are not rough to the touch. I've ridden over many bumps and have had no issues with the handlebar.3. The front fork is apparently made of carbon. I'm used to riding mountain bikes and so have usually ridden bikes with front suspension. I was worried about how stiff a bike without suspension would feel but from my research it seems carbon is one of the best materials for this purpose. Of course the ride will not feel the same as a bike with suspensions would, but so far I am enjoying all of my rides with this bike and have not had any issues.4. Seating position will not be the same as a road bike, although I suppose you can keep the seat higher than the handlebar if that's your preference. I personally like to keep both level and enjoy the more upright position that you get with this bike.I have no complaints about the tires or wheels so far. I've ridden on just streets so far (both smooth and rough surface) and have not had any issues. Maybe the tires will need to be changed down the road for something better, but these do the job.The seat is comfortable enough for me, but seats are easy to switch out according to preference. The gear mechanisms look solid and should last a long time with the right care.All in all I would recommend this bike for someone who wants to ride for exercise, commute, or just for a light ride. Obviously not meant for off-road or very rough terrain that is suitable for a mountain bike. I would not use this for racing although Tommaso does have road models that would be more fit for that purpose.If you have the opportunity to buy and try it then I doubt you will be disappointed. I will definitely be keeping this one for a long time.
