Loot Crate Chronicle Collectibles Blade Runner Spinner
There are 2 other reviews here that both have different perspectives on this loot crate Blade Runner spinner, based on artist Syd Mead’s design. And both reviews bring up valid points. You really don’t have many options for purchasing a spinner based on the original film. There are some resin model kits for around $50 that you can get here on Amazon that are very accurate but hard to build and require detailing, etc. NECA just released 2 different scales of the spinner from Blade Runner 2049, which are fantastic. But this spinner from Chronicle Collectibles is a great, albeit slightly pricey way to get yourself a spinner more in line with the original film. For clarification, this isn’t a screen accurate representation of spinners as seen in either Blade Runner or Blade Runner 2049, this is based on a few pieces that conceptual artist Syd Mead made during pre-production for Blade Runner (1982).Still, it looks pretty close to the original spinners, and I actually think it’s pretty awesome to get a spinner based off concept art. There is some great weathering and detailing on this for being fairly small, some of the stickers that were applied are sloppy but for me it still works and adds to the worn down, weathered aesthetic. I like the clear display stand it comes with, it easily pegs into the bottom of the spinner. Sure, $30 seems a bit steep, but this is part of a Loot Crate, those are limited quantities and once production is done, you can’t get them anymore and pricing on the secondary market will just rise. If you love Blade Runner and Spinners, I think this is a pretty great piece to have and comes FULLY APPROVED.

this is a nice little collectible
At about 4 inches, this is a nice little collectible, especially if you don't have the skill required to build the kit from Japan (I myself am a member of the "Glue On The Windshield Model Builders Club"). It doesn't have the Spinner decals or cop lights on top, probably because this is Sid Mead's design and they don't want to tie it into a licensed Blade Runner collectible. The interior is a solid blue color, but is detailed. Definitely worth having.

Not worth $30
What you have here is a hunk of plastic that roughly approximate the classic spinner from Blade Runner. The detail is mediocre, very little paint and only marginally faithful to the movie prop. It's not really worth the price. If you really want a good one there is a great model kit of the spinner but this is a poor imitation at best. An update. Processing a refund this thing is a piece of junk don't waste your money.
