These are thin, very stiff, and I’m not sure that they do much. I bought them to use in my office chair as I am seated at my desk most of the day. I definitely think one would be pretty pointless - I used both fastened together as a previous reviewer suggested. After an hour, I was uncomfortable because of how hard they are - they are not a cushion and I didn’t expect them to be, but I’m surprised by how uncomfortable they are. I feel that an office chair with a mesh seat is a better solution for air circulation. I am not a large or overweight person, so that is not a factor in my comfort level with this product. I would not repurchase or recommend.

I like Christina bought these based on the Wirecutter recommendation. They will not stay in place at all and are continually sliding off my vinyl seats. They do keep the seat from getting hot but I get tired about having to repeatedly put them back in to place
