Living in Colour: Colour in Contemporary Interior Design
S**S
Meh - Mixed thoughts
Full disclosure: I’m a color/pattern fanatic. So, given the name of this book, I thought it was for me. Well, the interiors actually in color were awesome, especially those by Anthony Barattta. Unfortunately, the first 44 pages are completely white interiors. Combined with those are a bunch more neutral interiors comprising roughly 40% of the book. Why, might I ask you, are these included in a book on color?!? Additionally, this was the single worst quality cover/binding that I’ve ever seen, which given my interior design/architecture library consists of about 3,000 books is really saying something. Normally, I would return a book of such poor quality, but I will likely keep this solely for the color interiors that are featured.
