Rockridge Press Critical Thinking Activities for Kids: Fun and Challenging Games to Boost Brain Power

It’s not interesting and pictures are not inviting.

This book “Critical Thinking-Activities for kids” is something I have never seen before and is so significant for today’s generation and even those before. I believe is it solving an important issue plaguing our children and contributing to transforming them into independent confident learners and later into leading adults.Here is my list of feedback as I perused the book.~Informative and detailed outline of the book~Introduction statement (page viii) on equipping students with critical skills for life is an admirable aim. See especially the last chapter: Amazing!~The increase in levels of difficulty approach to challenge students is excellent.~Relatable content using real life examples helps to show students the link between learning and their everyday life.~Lastly the “Write your own” option involves students and encourages their own thinking and the colour variety for each chapter is a nice touch! 👍🏽 😊On the contrary, the base locations could be more global/universal.

Great book for kids who can still think for themselves.

We just got this book and my daughter is loving it. The activities are challenging but that is what she likes about it. Sometimes these types of activity books can be way too easy, with just a lot of pictures and very little focus on content, challenge, or boosting critical skills. This is not the case with this one. It has a very good balance of fun and is very well written. Our copy does not have a weird odor.

Designed to be a consumable. Reuse is difficult with the pastel colored pages.
