Simple, Effective and Cheap

Cheap but serves its purpose
I read a lot of reviews that this tester was hard to use. Why? Because you had to hold batteries correctly. I just don't get it. It is very easy to use. Maybe if you had problems with your hands or fingers, yes. But for anyone else, it is easy. Finally, it is cheap, and I did not want to pay much for a tester, nor did I want it to take up much space. So this is small, gets the job done, and is cheap.For my use, just checking rechargeable AA batteries, it is good enough.

Cheap and Fast to Use
As the heading says, this device is a cheap and quick way to see if those batteries in your drawer are any good. The only real downside to this unit is that the rather narrow part of the unit to place the battery on; you have to hold the battery firmly in place or it will slide off and fall or at least lose contact with the terminals on the ends. If they have made the place where the battery is supposed to go in a V shape or trough, it probably would have held the battery more securely in place while measuring.

Works okay.
Works good just wish there was a spring to keep tension when you are testing a battery. I have to work a bit to keep it in position to read the battery charge because you have to keep pushing it together to keep the leads on the battery contacts.
