This washer belt is good value for the money.

Lasted 6 months before washer began squeaking again, constantly stained tile under washer the entire time. Pain to install, doubt it was the correct length- part number was correct for my model. Won’t buy again.

It could be a great belt on the right machine. However, it’s not the right diameter or thickness to replace the Kenmore Stackable Washer & Dryer (Model # 2661532) with original belt #228C2115 P003.

Installed on a 3-year-old Whirlpool washer two-person household. Belt slipping not spinning fast, clothes coming out wet, old belt rolled off easily. This is a serpentine belt, the pulley on the motor is metal an grooved to match belt. The pulley on the drum is plastic/smooth finish (no grooves). Used scotch pad to clean & scuff up plastic pulley, clean metal pulley too, you want the belt to grip good. Do yourself a favor and remove one motor bolt loosen the other, that will give you adjustment to get new belt on. Pry motor back over put bolt back in and tighten both. Not real difficult if you can turn wrenches.

This belt is the correct serial number, but doesn’t fit on a Maytag washer. Our technician said it’s the wrong tension. Save your money, and buy one from a local parts store. They’re a little more expensive, but it’ll save you a lot of time and frustration.
