When I originally bought my surface laptop, I was disappointed because the only color available was blue and I really wanted a black laptop. Overtime the fabric around the keyboard has gotten stained and dingy and this adhesive was the perfect solution. Not only does it protect the fabric but it also turns my laptop black Along with the other accessories I bought. Installation was a little tricky, but when I put it on crooked, I was able to easily take it off and realign it. I would suggest only removing half of the backing at a time to make it easier to put on I took the entire backing off and that’s what made it difficult to line up correctly the first time

it was a little bit smaller than the actual laptop so you can kinda see where the sticker ends and computer starts but its not that noticeable if you aren’t paying attention. also had it for over a year now and has held up great. no peeling edges or anything. has a slight texture but much better than i expected.

This is a great option to cover stains in the surface laptop. I bought one a Year and half ago. Almost immediately it started to be stained. I tried cleaning but not all stains would come out. Eventually i gave up. It is a great computer but the alcantara material just doesn’t work. I bought this cover because i was just tired of seeing the stains. This product was great! Totally changes the look of my surface. It is easy to install and although it doesn’t look as a nice as the alcanta it is better than stained alcantara.

I was so bummed when the alcantara fabric started to stain from my hand resting in the same spot every day. Cleaning wasn't working and I was contemplating putting some tape over the spots or something... So glad I found this product!! It completely fixes the issue and still feels great! I used a black one on my aluminum Surface Laptop 2 and it still looks cool. Gray would look nice as well, but the black on gray kind of gives it a cool contrast.
