Very easy to use and gives quick result
Quickly showed the presence of lead. Easily matched to a colour chart to give a rough idea of the amount present. I have given 4 stars for accuracy but frankly I don't know! Have to take it on trust.

Not that great
Not sure about the accuracy of these; probs should have thought on. I live in an apartment that was built in 1901, in the process of stripping my stairs. Really old paint , from what I can gather, on my stairs. Tried these sticks on both the ‘old’ paint on my stairs and ‘new’ paint I painted on some new doors a couple of years back. The stick gave a positive reading for lead on paint I night from b&q to paint my doors. Unfortunately, like others have said: def not accurate, pretty sure b&q don’t sell paint with lead in…I would suggest; if you suspect old paint, have it tested by a professional 👍

Easy to use. Clear result.
Easy to use. Gave a clear positive result for lead in an area I suspected may have lead paint present. Also tested on an area I was pretty sure wouldn't have lead and none detected.

Absolutely RUBBISH -FALSE RESULTS
Do not buy these tests -I tested every wall in my house and all came up positive for lead, it caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. I then paid for a lab test and ALL CONTAINED ZERO LEAD! Absolute waste of money -do not buy!!! If I could give zero stars I would!

Fast, accurate and safe 100%
Amazing test kit!!! I was worried I had lead on my old skirting board! Turns out I DID! Thank goodness I tested especially with two young children in the house and another on the way. Test was accurate and fast. My advice is if you suspect any lead do the test!!
