No Problem So Far
I have been a Jillian Michaels user for years, and did the Revolution series when it came out. But after a long hiatus from working out I just couldn't do the quick changes of exercises due to problems with my knees. I decided to try this and so far I am able to complete them all the way thru although I do modify some of the exercises. I like that each exercise is done for a full minute, this gives you time to get your heart rate up. And there is a 20 second or so rest while Autumn explains and demos your next movements. They flow well together; not so much of in the floor then up then in the floor again as Jillians do. I have completed all of the workouts at least once and can say although I may not LIKE to do them, (much rather be on the couch) I don't DREAD to do them because I know I can complete them without joint pain. I have had some minor soreness but nothing painful. I can see that if I continue these I will have to get heavier weights to make the movements harder. I like that you do the same warmup every time. Its an old school warm up but it works. The only fault I find is that I can't always watch the lady that does the modifications. Lastly I am not really following the container program. I am using a calorie counter app on my phone instead but I do use the containers to watch my portion size. If you don't fell like you want to work out in order to progress to doing fancy lunges and such, and just want a good workout to gain strength and lose weight I would recommend this whole heartedly.

It Works
I have been trying for years to lose the last 15 pounds. Finally, between the exercise and the eating program, I was able to do it. I lost 14 pounds and 2 inches in my waist in 21 days.The key is the eating plan. So long as you follow it and exercise, you will lose the weight. The containers are perfect and go a long way to teach you about portion control and what foods to eat. Granted, you're going to be really hungry, but you will see quick results which will encourage to keep going. There were several times I wanted a treat, but I wanted to give the program every chance.It's been three weeks since the program is over, and I have been able to keep off the weight. I realistically have another 5, maybe 10 pounds to go, but I think I can do it. Regardless, by using the eating plan and continuing to exercise, I have been able to maintain my weight, which makes me feel even better.

If you are committed to a healthy lifestyle change, do this!
We got this product after doing some research and deciding this is what my husband needed to really focus in on a diet. We both eat poorly and have no concept of food variety and the associated portions. This really makes you think outside the box for some creativity and variety, while forcing you to remain healthy. This is not something to do for just 21 days. Unlike others have said, it's not designed that way to hit it and quit it. It's designed that way because psychological studies show that it takes 3 weeks to build a habit.You would be amazed at how much quantity of food you actually get when you're eating low calorie meals. On this, you pretty much eat all day long. LOL. My husband has been pretty strictly following this for a month now and he's lost 15 pounds (and continuing to lose) and that is without doing the workouts. We have a newborn so his workout time is limited. It just shows how important food intake is. He feels a thousand times better than before this meal plan.We highly recommend this product!

Not for Me (bad knee)
I really hate to give this only 3-Stars but I have to. I am 50 and sadly, need to lose around 30-40 lbs. I was so excited to receive this program and put in the first DVD. I followed the 'Modifier' who clearly has been doing this workout for awhile (she has at least 30 lbs on me). The first exercise, Surrenders. This is where you take a step back and go down on your right knee, your left leg follows (now you're kneeling) then step up with your right and follow with your left to a standing position. Sounds easy..looks easy..doing it is another thing when you're carrying excess weight and have a bad knee. Nonetheless I stuck with it (because I'm stubborn) and finished the Cardio following the Modifier. I did extra stretching at the end because I KNEW from my former days in the gym that the video did not provide enough of it to prevent pain the following day. In fact, I was already sore by that night and it took 5-days before my quads allowed to feel human again. While I enjoy mild soreness after a workout, I don't like feeling debilitated.However, I do like Autumn and I wish that BeachBody did a workout for people who are overweight and Beginners with exercises that get gradually more difficult as you follow along with the program. Not bring your morale to an all-time low because you can't follow along. You truly realize how difficult it is to use your bodyweight for some of these exercises..it's so discouraging when there isn't a modifier you can do :'(Here's the thing, I know what it feels like to be FIT! I spent a lot of time in the gym in my 20's-30's and worked out HARD! I hated hearing the words "I can't!" when I heard someone with a trainer. A lot of life stressors put me where I am now and I'm ready to make a change. But putting in a DVD that makes you feel so deeply defeated because you simply CANNOT (not will not, CANNOT) do the first exercise..well, it knocked the wind out of me and I felt so discouraged. I have the Kettlebell Kettleworx workout and have been able to follow along without issue by starting with one set and moving up each time. Yes, I'm sore, but not so much so that I can't function and more importantly, I am able to follow along without feeling defeated. The 21 Day Fix has shown me how much work I have ahead of me..but this is not the way to go for me..I'll stick with my Kettleworx for now. Perhaps once I get 20lbs off I'll give it another go. As for now, I'm returning it.BTW..if you order direct through BeachBody they toss in an extra DVD which they for some reason, do not do via Amazon :(
