Loved the easy to use and fun to own product.
Loved it! My family and I have had a lot of fun making our own ice cream. The recipe book that accompanies it is very helpful and has many good and easy recipes. There are even more recipes on the Internet. I keep ingredients on hand and can make ice cream whenever the mood strikes me. Very affordable, easy to use and fun! Thank you!

Deep freezer and fats
I saw a lot of reviews saying it didn't work I'm not sure how everyone made the ice cream but here are my recommendations so your ice cream adventure works out. So I would recommend putting the qrt into a deep freezer instead of a regular freezer if you don't have a deep freezer I would recommend leaving it in the freezer for a couple of days so it's frozen solid. I would also recommend using products with high amounts of fats. That's how the ice cream can form I made vegan ice cream the substitute is coconut cream and coconut milk which has high amounts of fats which turned out pretty good. Hopefully this helps 🤗Other than my advice it's a cute ice cream maker and I love it ❤️

Not bad for a smaller sized ice cream maker.
I bought this since I have a large more durable Cuisinart ice cream maker, but wanted a more portable one for my RV. This works but we have found the paddle to be a bit tight inside the container once frozen. Started by adding the mix THEN trying to fit the paddle in but some of the mix had already started to freeze along the walls. Therefore, the paddle didn't fit well. Trying to turn it on it sounded VERY clunky, jerking around. After investigation we discovered the above problem. Thinking maybe my freezer had frozen it at an usually low temperature having had it in the bottom drawer, we decided to give it another try. Next try was in the RV, where I froze the container in that freezer. We also added the mix AFTER adding the paddle, just pouring the mix in through the "mix in" spout. This came out better than the first try without trying to violently shake the dang thing apart. Another factor to all of this was that we made froyo in the first batch which didn't call for any liquid ingredients, so the particular Greek yogurt we used might have also been mega thick. The latter version called for lowfat milk and lowfat evap milk. All in all, we are going to keep this since it is a good product and didn't break the bank. We'll have to keep experimenting with different types/mixtures but this is a machine we'll have to go gentle with. I wouldn't recommend adding any mix ins while it's churning because that may throw it over the top. Add those in after you are serving it then gently stir.

Good but…
This is my first ice cream maker so I don’t have anything else to compare it to. It works really good but although it comes with recipes and what is included in the box, it doesn’t have any instructions to put it together. I am challenged with putting stuff together with instructions so imagine the problems I had without them. Otherwise I am satisfied with the product itself. I would definitely advise that they include instructions with this.

Non-functional
My brother, who is a professional culinary instructor, was the first to attempt to use this product. He has a similar product from Cuisinart (and has had it for years). He wanted to see if this newer product could perform as well as his other, older model. He was also considering adding this product to his Amazon store, as he teaches professional online courses. He (and we) were deeply disappointed to see that this product could not even finish one dessert. All instructions were followed, and there was nothing wrong with the contents he was trying to mix up. It is really unfortunate. Plastic parts?? Unbelievable.
