FURminator 10730 Long Hair Deshedding Tool for Cats, Large

This is an excellent little comb/brush for my cats. I recently had a fire and we lost everything. Spring is here and my cats were needing brushed. Sooooo glad I have been able to replace the one we lost. This grabs, loosens and removes cat fur all the way down. I find after doing a really good brushing o get enough fur to make another cat. Hahahaha however, there is some fly away fur lingering so the next day I repeat. The fur and shedding is then under control once again and my cats can usually keep up with me giving a good brushing every couple weeks. Super great tool to help keep pets and home clean

My daughter recommended this and so glad I listened! Works great, helps get rid of my cats underfur, especially this time of year when pets are shedding their winter coat. Already less coughing up hairballs. The little tab pushes the fur off of the comb making it easy to clean in one swipe. Highly suggest for your little fur ball!

We have a 1 year old Maine Coon who is 16lbs. We have brushed him since he was a kitten but that does not stop the giant fur balls from landing as he walks. A friend recommend this and OMG the first stroke down his back and half a cat came off. At first I thought that I may have caused a bald spot with the chunk of hair I had on the brush, but he was fine. This is a great brush for doing sections. I would never do this all at once because I'm not sure who it would traumatize more me or him, lol! But it does exactly what it is supposed to do when your cat has 2 coats of fur.

I have a double coated long hair cat who sheds seasonally, he didn't hate the slicker brush we had before but I can DEFINITELY tell the difference with this, we can do longer brushing sessions and he's less uncomfortable, also gets SO much fur out!

Someone recommended this Furminator to me for my long-haired cat. It definitely does a great job at removing his hair. In fact, it removes so much fur that the hair removal button isn't even needed; I simply grab the hair with my hand from the deshedding edge every time it gets full and throw it into the wastebasket that I have right next to me. What I don't like about this product is the static electricity gets bad and the hair goes EVERYWHERE. Once I'm done, I have to use the hand vac and sticky roller to clean up me, the floor and the cat. See photos of my fluffy cat and the fur I got from one brush session (which doesn’t even include the hair I cleaned up separately due to the static). Also, I find the Furminator overpriced when it’s full price (about $40). When it's on sale in the mid-$20's, it's a good buy.

This is a great tool for combing out dead hair without hurting the cat. We have a short hair brown tabby whose fur feels rough like a cheap carpet if we don’t groom him regularly. He loves the brushing sessions and begs for them every day. I bought this to replace a slightly smaller version I gave to a friend whose cat was a shedding machine. While this four-inch model works just as well, I like the smaller one a little better—easier to use on the throat and chest and neck. I’ve had cats for fifty years and used all kinds of brushes and combs and gloves; the Furminator is much better in the cats’ opinion as well as mine.

This removes so much hair from my cat it's insane. Works very well, she seems to like it, she'll just lay there purring while I'm using it. I think if I used it daily I'd have no cat hair around my home. Highly recommend.

J'ai opté pour ce peigne qui retire les poils morts mais pas les boules de poils.J'espérais que ce peigne m'aide à enlever les boules de poils compactes mais ça ne le fait pas

When I looked at the furminator it didn't look like it would work. I was wrong. Great deshedder for my cats.
