Essential Home Walnut Emily Breakfast Nook

I have a relatively small eating area so when I decided to purchase a table I wanted something that would utilize as much space as possible. That being said this table does just that! It lets you utilize the space in the corner, space under both bench seats which allow you to store some extra items. I am a small person about 100lbs and I put most of it together. The directions were very clear and the hardware included to put the table together are labeled very well in my opinion. They label the boxes as to what pieces it goes to. The corner piece especially, takes 4 bubble packs of hardware to complete. I would like to also note that you CAN reverse the pieces, so you can have the short bench or the long bench on either side, BUT you HAVE to pay attention to the directions. There are certain pages you need to skip to achieve what orientation you want. I failed this part and accidentally used an end piece in on the wrong side. They show you on the very outer page what pages you need to read in order to put it together.There was no damage to the table upon arrival. I had seen lots of comments and reviews saying that this is pressed wood... I can assure you IT IS NOT! It is REAL wood. The only part that is MDF is where the extra storage is under the bench which can't be seen. I will say, however, the box was in rough shape but it really didn't reflect what was in the box. It did take awhile to put together and I recommend a drill or it will take even longer. I would say it look about 3 1/2 hours, but remember I started this project by myself because I'm impatient. haha Overall, I would give this table a solid 8/10

Awesome piece! I was worried about this purchase because everyone was saying they received broken pieces, but it arrived on time and in great shape. Its SOLID WOOD too! None of that composite fiberwood crap. My mother and I assembled most of it together, then I finished the rest alone so it's not that difficult if you just follow the intstructions and DONT LOSE ANY OF THE SCREWS OR DOWELS. The nook is Strong, Sturdy, and looks Great! It's PERFECT for small spaces. I live in a pretty small one-bedroom with a sorry excuse for a dining area, but this nook fits. Dont let the bad reviews deter you too much if you want it. I dont regret my purchase... now im looking forward to shoppng for the cushions!!

The set itself is a great size and what I expected. However, shipping packaging needs to be improved. The box itself looked like it had been tossed around like a football. It had several large rips and holes. The corner of one of the table legs was broken off and there were a couple of pieces that were cracked. The provided instructions state you should use a screwdriver and not a drill. I also recommend a screwdriver as the wood cracks very easily if too much pressure is applied. Hard learned lesson my part. Putting it together was a pain in the butt. The bench and table assembled very easily. But the corner nook unit had multiple pieces and small parts. Comparable to any Ikea furniture. Additionally you can have the longer corner side on either the right or left side. The instructions are detailed for right-side construction and very vague for left-side construction but pretty easy to figure out as you build. Overall I'm satisfied with what I received and the quality of the product in relation to the money I spent.

This is the first new table I’ve ever bought, and I’m mostly satisfied. It seats several people, and feels sturdy enough for the price.Pros:Plenty of seating with minimal space.Built in storage.Real wood boards.Beautiful finish.Cons.Instructions were often unclear.Dowels often failed to fit in their holes.Needed to break out the power tools for assembly.Pro TipsYou’ll need a power drill and a rubber mallet to assemble this kit. It’s definitely a two person job, and even with power tools it’ll take a couple hours. I used wood glue in all the holes, slots, and along the connecting seams to reinforce it.With the table and bench it is ESSENTIAL to make sure your dowel holes are bored out BEFORE you screw the legs to the surface. Otherwise the dowels will push up through the surface top and ruin it. This is where I had the biggest problem and had to drill the holes wider and deeper. If you’re not comfortable doing that I’d recommend cutting some length off of the dowels. For the table and bench there should only be about 1/3” of dowel going into the surface and feet.Final thoughts: I don’t think I’d take this kit with me to a new house, or pass it down to my kids. But it’s an amazing find for the price. Perfect for a young family or a small dining room.

This is the cheapest, poorly made unit. The wood scratches very easy. The wood split while I was assembling and they charged me for a new replacement piece which I have not used because I am returning the whole unit, we have used the table maybe 5 times because the fear of scratching it, even my salt and pepper shakers can't sit on table with out making small marks. The table is so light it moves anytime someone touches it. I got this to be my kitchen table because of the booth type seating and the wood color was what I was looking for I wish I could have seen this first before purchasing it. Very cheap value, not even worth the inexpensive price it is.

The first one was shipped and busted open during the process. We returned it and the seller was great!! They sent a new one! It took a couple hours with two people to put together. I don't recommend doing it without a power drill. It would take ffoorreeevvverrrrr. I love it though. It's cute and the benches are little hideaways. Worth every penny.

Better than the picture! So happy I chose this nook. Everything lined up perfect and directions were easy to follow No scratches or chips. Packing was very good. Do not be afraid to purchase. !!! I have limited space and this is a perfect size. It's not an overwhelming piece of furniture, just right for a small space.
