Rubie's Child's Ghostbusters Costume, Small

My son watches Toy Lab TV on YouTube and has wanted a Ghostbusters costume for months, after watching their copycat episodes every day for weeks. They're expensive IMO so when this dropped in price I bought it... The costume isn't beige and isn't cut like the clothes the guys wore in the first two movies. It's a gray microfiber that looks like every other boys' costume Rubies makes (for example, like the SpiderMan costume he wore last Halloween). My son was offended (at 4 years old, haha) that the proton pack was inflatable, and I can't even figure out what to do with the plastic strip that has Velcro on each end. I see a place for one piece of Velcro but not the other. He hasn't worn it since he first tried it on. He dumped all the pieces on the floor. He's also holding a grudge that there isn't a place for a name tag. That's an essential part of the costume I guess.Now that I wrote this review I just made up my mind to return it. It's going to sit in the bottom of the dress-up bin otherwise.

Nice for the price for under $30?This gets the point across as what you are, but not super detailed but it has the Ghostbuster logo on the sleeve, the kid (age 4) didn't care as it looked like the Ghostbusters overalls.The "Proton" pack was cheesy, (inflatable) but again the kid was happy as he could point the wand and pretend he was shooting it.Size small fit the kid perfectly except for the legs were about way longer but not an issue as you can tuck them into boots or roll them up.No problems w/ packaging and delivered on time.

For the price you can't beat it (I got mine on sale for $6). My kid loved it. It's a one piece with Velcro squares to close the back. The ray gun is also attached to the suit with Velcro squares. My kid wore normal warm clothes and this costume fit perfectly right on top. The material is thin, but warm clothes under and it's perfect. He is a ghostbusters fan so hes been wearing it even after Halloween.

Bought this for my 3yo's birthday. It's definitely way too large for him, but the sleeves and pant legs cuff really nicely and he can easily wear it over his clothing. He loves dressing up as a Ghostbuster and catching ghosts around the house - I never knew how many we had!

Amazingly detailed costume! My son was the hit of the block while trick or treating this year! WAYYYY better than the tan colored Ghostbusters costume that has been out for kids the last few years! It is fitted to and true to size. Not baggy and sloppy. Has all the details of the original including the green belt and the elbow pads! He had this paired with the  Rubie's Costume Kids Classic Ghostbusters Deluxe Costume Proton Backpack  made him a smash hit!!

The gun was lost in about to seconds after my son took it out of the package and it is thin material with Velcro to hold it together. You may want to buy a toy proton pack because the one on the back just was just kinda week. I took my sons to a seamstress and had a zipper put into the back to help keep it around a little longer. and some of the stitches need to be reinforced.

Missing proton wand and condition of packing item came in was poor as well. Jump suit itself was cute and the large fit my jus turned 9 year old nicely. He was upset it was missing wand. I just reordered and hope new order isn’t missing the wand !Update: new replacement had missing wand and my son loved his coustume

My son is absolutely obsessed with the Ghostbusters. We purchased this costume for his birthday. He was ridiculously excited when he opened the package. Unfortunately the proton pack arrived with a hole in it and we were unable to properly inflate it on day 1.

This is the second suit ordered as my son has grown out of the first one,great suit for the money but....for some strange reason the printed elbow pads are on backwards ? Didn't notice at first but then spotted the fault,doesn't effect the suit in anyway and he's happy with it

this fitted my grandson well and is of fairly good quality

Cheeply made but was not expensive and fits my 3 yesr old

Perfect for my 11year old

Great outfit, although very huge for the size
