Frustrating purchase
I saw some mixed reviews and decided to purchase anyway since the closet store that carries them is about an hour away. The blade wasn’t an accurate 105 and was significantly longer than it was supposed to be. The packaging was also only an envelope and not the typical box that the items are sold in at woodworking stores. Maybe that’s due to the manufacturer making a packing decision, but either way that combined with the irregular blade size will make me avoid ordering the product here. Timber Wolf makes a superb blade, but something isn’t right with these blades.

Not first quality blades
This blade is not a high quality blade that Timber Wolf would sell from their factory store. Blade looks like it is perfectly fine, but it wobbles considerably front to back on the saw. I put two other blades on my machine and they worked normally. My machine was just tuned up so I know it was the blade and not my machine. Secondly, the packaging was not like a factory blade, but instead was in a plastic bag. If you are willing to put up with a less than perfect blade for a lower price then this blade might be for you.

These seem to be blades that did not pass Timber Wolf q/a; being sold by some third party?
I bought a number of these blades. The first one broke as I was putting it on the bandsaw. Two other blades had kinks that made them unusable (I was able to return one unit, but the flaw in the other unit was discovered only after the return date passed). The blades came packaged only in a plastic bag with a xeroxed sheet of instructions, and not in the usual yellow Timber Wolf box. My hypothesis is that some third party is acquiring Timber Wolf blades that did not pass their quality assurance, and reselling them as bona fide Timber Wolf blades. My advice is if the blade you order is not in a yellow Timber Wolf box, return it.

I wish I could have put zero stars. This blade was kinked and had a bad weld. it would not track like any of my other timber wolf blades and would move forward and back on the tires. Sent back immediately! I almost think it was a fake or off brand because it was not in normal packaging.Update:After returining and contacting the seller Chris sent me out a new blade that works great! I think I just got a bad one and it happens.

Almost a great bandsaw blade
This could be a great blade at a great price. It is very sharp, nice hard teeth, and even with the problem it resaws well. The problem is the weld joint. Mine looks good, but it is not straight. The blade jumps forward and backward (not side to side) with an annoying "tick tick tick" sound as it comes off and back on the guide wheels. It they did a better job of the weld, I'd give it five stars. For me, the "woodslicer," even at $10 more, is what I will go back to. Really unfortunate because it is ALMOST perfect.

Great resawing with a smaller (1hp) sized bandsaw
This works great with my 14" Jet 1HP bandsaw with the upgraded riser block. I tried the Timber Wolf 3/4" blade with 3tpi previously (without the riser) and I feel my 1HP bandsaw is a bit underpowered for a 3/4" blade. It was very hard to push stock through it. With the 1/2" blade, the bandsaw didn't seem to struggle as much as I cut through a 10" board today. I feel like the 4tpi helps move the wood though a little quicker than 3tpi did and didn't have any negative effect on cut wandering

Cuts great! but has bad seam weld
The media could not be loaded. I do want to say, I love this blade.. especially when compared to lower quality blades. It does cut like a dream but I gave it 3 stars because the seam weld is not even so when setting up your bandsaw, you have to find the low spot to set your thrust bearing which is a little disheartening. Otherwise I am very happy with this blade on my Jet 14" bandsaw with the 6" riser installed.

Hit or miss..
I have purchased three of these blades. The first one would have definitely been a 5 star rating. Smooth cutting, straight tracking etc. the second blade had a terrible kink at the weld. Almost a 1/4” deflection. Basically useless. The third blade was better but still had a slightly kinked weld. Cuts and tracks well, but makes that ticking sound that keeps you on edge because it runs like a blade that is just about to break on the weld. I’ve bought Timberwolf blades for years, and I hope they get what seems like a quality control issue fixed..
