Take Heart

I almost finished this book in one sitting. It was that engaging. IMO, this book was a bit different from the other books Ms. Faulk has written. I cannot put my finger on what made it different. I wish I could explain it, but I cannot (at least not now). I liked the fact that she "deviated" from the usual group of characters. The main male character (Aaron) is the brother of the main male character (Craig) in her last book, "Perfectly Pretend." The main female character (Libby) is brand new to the "crew." I guess I enjoyed reading about a new person in the growing list of characters that wasn't related to another character from previous books.The book flowed smoothly with no major hiccups. The only confusing part I found was in location 1124. I assume that the "she" referenced in the sentence beginning with " Can't get anything past you . . . " I wasn't sure if the person speaking was Libby or Courtney, her friend. I think it referenced Courtney. I had to re-read that series of dialogue a few times to get it straight.Of course, Ms. Faulk breathed a bit of life into Aaron's 2 other brothers (Eli and Issac) in this book. I look forward to reading their stories in future books (hint, hint).

I have come to expect that a Jenn Faulk book will make me laugh, cry, and leave me uplifted and edified. Haven't been disappointed in one yet. The only trouble is that once I've started a book, I have a hard time putting it down. Today was too hot to do anything but sit under the fan and read :-)

I love everything I have read by Ms. Faulk and Take Heart is no exception. Aaron and Libby are the kind of couple that make you smile. Just one question. Where can I find an Aaron for my daughter?

I love Jenn Faulk's book and this is no exception. I also adore the Lucas family and glad we get to the story of another brother! Aaron is like the sweetest man alive, too!

Jenn Faulk has done it again! Every time I read one of her books, my heart stops as I'm swept away into the story as if I'm the main character. I laugh, I smile, and I even get choked up on stifling a sob as I find myself going through the plot. I love every book Jenn Faulk writes ans this one is just as awesome! Well done, author. Well done.

Wow! I'm swooning over the hero, Aaron in this sweet romance. He was so precious. The heroine, Libby was an amazingly strong young lady who took on so much responsibility at such a young age. The couple was so adorable. I loved this book. I highly recommend it.

I have loved every book I've read by Jenn Faulk... so much that I have trouble putting them down once I start reading them.

I love Jenn Faulk books, and I can't wait to read the next one! I hope you will give them a try!
