Spanish made Italian dagger replicas?
The Imperial Eagle & Griffin letter openers were purchased by one of my good friends at a local pawn shop here in PA. He purchased them for $10 each, being told they were Spanish Daggers. It took me quite awhile to identify these, seeing as they both have the word "SPAIN" written on them in fine print. Although, what I'm truly concerned about is how it says their true origin resides in Italy? You would never know though, seeing as it is written on the opposite side & EVERY online store advertising only the front side. I'm led to believe that these are Spanish produced replica Italian letter openers. That's very VERY deceptive of these people to do this. As for the quality itself. Top notch! But, It would be truly appreciative if this practice didn't continue.
