iTouchless Touch-Free Sensor Controlled Automatic Toilet Seat - Round Model, Off-White

Works great so far for the past month since installation, BUT it has to be plugged in, does not work on battery power!

I bought this to keep from killing my husband for leaving the seat up ALL the time. This thing is the best invention since sliced bread. Worth EVERY penny you spend on it. Even my husband brags about it now. He likes the fact that he never has to bend over to lift the seat. I worried about how long it would take the lid to raise, but it snaps up quickly! I also worried about the sensor in low light. I hate turning on all the lights at night to go to the bathroom. Hence why I fell in a few times BEFORE we got this. It actual works very well in low light. The night light in our room 12 ft away is enough for it it sense a person and snap the lid up!!!! Cannot say enough great comments about this.

The toilet seat raises without touching it, but it lowers too fast -- after only 30 seconds. If it lowered after 1 minute or so, that would be perfect.Also, the sensor doesn't keep activating the whole time I'm standing there, so I have to wave my hand in front of it several times, or risk having the seat go back down before I'm "finished."Also, the first time a guest used it, he somehow managed to arrange it so that it didn't close at all, after he was finished, which really pissed me off (no pun intended). This is because I mainly got this thing so that the lid would close after every use by a guest. I still have no idea how he did that, and I haven't had a guest since him, so I'll have to see how it works with other people in the future.Still, I think it was a worthwhile buy because it always closes by itself, and I never have to touch the seat or the lid. Despite my minor complaints above, I would still recommend this product.

I bought this unit back in March 2014. Worked great, family loved it, even the guests loved it. It lasted 7 months. the seats don't lift up all the way, sometimes they come up together & on top of it, it sounds like the gears inside the motor are shot. For the price of this toilet seat I expect it to last many years not 7 months. I sent their customer service inquiries as to warranty but no response.

Let me first say that there are few or no risks in buying anything from Amazon. They stand behind their sales. So I was able to get a full refund from them despite the lengthy and rude goose chase that the iTouchless company put me through. But that's a customer service issue that I'll deal with later. For now, I can tell you that you must resist any temptation to buy this item for laughs or convenience - because it's neither. The sensor allows for your choice (on a dial) of either what amount to as oversensitive, (where the lid will raise from any perceived movement within 10 feet) - to completely insensitive, where you ultimately raise the lid yourself because you get tired of standing or dancing in front of the sensor to get it's attention. You also get slammed on the back by the lid while sitting when this seat perceives you should be done. The battery also runs empty too frequently and suddenly. One day it's working, the next it's not. Then it's working again. The iTouchless company had me try too many different manuevers to attempt to fix these problems, and then 60 days later without success, had the nerve to tell me I ran out of time on their replacement/refund policy. They happily told me "to take my problem to Amazon". The good news is that the delay gave me time to get to know more about the product. Like, even if it did work...it doesn't fit well on a round toilet. It's a little too long and the porcelain rim underneath shows in the front. Then there's a serious matter with the large plastic attachment in back that the seat gets secured to. It is difficult or impossible to clean completely, even if you remove the entire seat, because "splashes" find their way under the plastic platform and ferment there. I actually got to see what was going on after just 60 days of use when I removed everything for it's return. Then I understood why that bathroom was no longer smelling fresh even after cleaning. Anyway, I'm so happy to be rid of it that I no longer care if my husband remembers to put the seat down or not. And in that way, as the product claims, I suppose it did save our marrage.

Los tornillos que sostienen las tapas se oxidan incluyendo el conector de corrientes. El mio lo tuve que quitar porque no se puede conectar por el oxido que tiene el conector, y al estar los tornillos igual pues no se pueden desarmar para cambiar el conector.

My son embarrassed me into buying this for my husband. He loves it and all my guests love to check it out. Very happy with the product and the service.

I love my new touchless toilet seat! I had it installed by a male relative. He told me Iit was super easy to install. And it didn't take long at all. I think sometimes the seat gets confused. It tried to close when I was on it a few times. It then sensed that I was still on the stool and it went back into place. Sometimes I pass it and the lid will pop up. But then when I'm out of range, it goes back down. These are very minor things that I have encountered with the seat. I still love it because I no longer have to be concerned with the seat being left up. This seems to be a problem for most men. Most just don't get it. But with this seat, neither the man or woman has to be concerned about it anymore. Great product. Worth every penny I paid for it! Would recommend to all my family and friends! Hope you never stop making this seat. Sure to eliminate a lot of arguments!
