4" Metal Wave Clamps Aluminum Hair Wave Clip (12 clips)

I only wear vintage hairstyles (I usually wear 1940s victory curls) and decided to start wearing my hair in 1920s marcel waves. I tried doing it on my own with just bobby pins and that worked ok but I had to sleep in them and spray them with tons of spray to keep them in. With these clips, you don't have to sleep in them and these hairstyles in the pics took me about 10 mins. I still had to use hairspray, but you basically just wet your hair, put in the wave clips, let it sit for 5 mins, take them out and spray them with hairspray, put them back in for another 5 mins and take them out and you're good to go! I use bobby pins to keep them in place but they keep in place pretty good even without the bobby pins to hold them. I just use the pins as reinforcement because I wear the style all day. I am Hispanic and have enough hair for 3 people and they held just fine! They seem flimsy and thin but I have yet to break one! I love these clips!

I ordered these to create finger waves as I was going for an old Hollywood look for a wedding. I watched a tutorial off YouTube and it was so easy to achieve after a little practice. These are well made, easy to use. I suggest ordering several sets so you have enough to set all at once and pay attention to the size, order correct length so they set to your head best. I had fun trying out different techniques. They're exactly like the ones my mother had from her younger years. I remember playing with them when I was little. Wish I still had those, they'd be considered vintage now! Anyway, great buy, great product!

I haven't used tbese yet, but they should do fine. Seem sturdy and should do the job if you set them properly.

Ruby and I marcelled our hair with clips similar to these years ago. These are not as sturdy as our cast aluminum were, but they work. When I saw one of the stars on Downton Abbey, I remember...omigoodness, we used to get that same look...feminine, pretty. If you covet retro looks, these are helpful. Not for the pant suit crowd... but with denim and jeans, the waves look just fine.

They’re work to put in efficiently. I bought a three barrel waver that is easier. They’re impossible to find, so I’m glad I added them to my supplies

Had bought before and then bought another brand which I returned. Very poor grip and quite tinny. These are perfect.

Ordered these and as soon as I tried to use one it instantly fell apart, I contacted the seller and they asked for pictures and other stuff, I sent it to them and they never replied or replaced. Very disappointed in the customer service. The clamps aren't that great either, I wonder if I just got a bad batch.
