This makeup brush cleaner smells amazing. If only my shampoo smelled this good! I have to be honest by saying I have never really cleaned my makeup brushes before. When the brushes start looking old I just throw them away. I saw on some morning show that people are supposed to clean their makeup brushes on a regular basis. I honestly did not even know makeup brush cleaner existed. So when I came across this item I really wanted to try it out.Of course the first thing I noticed was the great scent. Then I read the directions and proceeded to clean my blush brush. I got the blush brush wet and added a little bit of this makeup brush cleaner directly onto the brush. I then washed it around with my fingers very similar to how I would use real shampoo in my hair. After I felt I had washed it long enough I rinsed the brush thoroughly with water. I let the brush dry overnight. In the morning I noticed a great difference. The brush seemed soft and new again. We are constantly replacing makeup brushes in our house. Seems like every time I turn around, the daughter and I are needing new brushes. I found a makeup brush set on subscribe and save so we have been getting a new pack of brushes every month (we alternate so we get a new set every other month). After purchasing this solution and a silicone makeup brush cleaner, I’ve now changed our subscribe and save brush order to every 2 months. The bristles have remained supple and they don’t stink like they did before. I couldn’t believe the amount of makeup that came out of the brushes on the first cleaning. We are cleaning them about every couple of days and I can really tell a difference. Both of our acne is getting better too. Not sure if it’s using cleaner brushes or something else but it’s definitely working!I have opted to test products as a hobby and thus, received this product at a reduced price in order to fully test the product offered. This Makeup Brush cleaner is a gentle soap for cleaning delicate makeup brushes. I had no idea how much buildup I had on my brushes until I cleaned them. The brushes smell clean and fresh, scent is pleasant and not overly perfume-y. Smells similar to salon hair shampoo. It comes in an easy to dispense flip top cap. I just wish there was more product. Bottle is small though, wish there was more for the price.

If you purchase new brushes, purchase this cleanser. It will definitely remove that chemical smell. This cleaner works well so far. A little goes a long way.

It's pretty gross how long I have waited to clean my brushes. I normally just use baby shampoo to clean my brushes but thought I would test out this brush cleaning shampoo. It came in a small 2 ounce bottle and was packaged in an envelope. The directions were really easy to follow. All I had to do was just rinse my brushes with warm water and then add a little dollop of this. I started rubbing them on my hands and was not having much luck. I thought that I would use my makeup washer to help and it got all of the gunk off. It smelled really wonderful and it was an almost fruity and flowery scent. I was impressed at how easily how all of the makeup was removed and it did not leave any soap or sticky residue. This was infused with Vitamin E and antioxidants to restore makeup brush quality. It left my brushes really really clean and there was not any makeup left on my brushes. This is a great product!I hope that this review has been helpful to you!

Decidedly average. I've been a pro MUA for close to 10 years. . . I've washed a lot of brushes. This is no different than regular shampoo from target for 1/6th the price
