I previously had a square flyer that gave up the ghost after a few years. I chose this one because it was narrow and took up less space on the shelf, but also because you can take it apart and put the pan section in the dishwasher. Cleaning the other one was a nightmare, this one is easy.The chips aren’t as good but I need to experiment to see why not. Could be any number of reasons. They were still better than chips from the air frier!

I love the simplicity and modularity of being able to completely strip my Geepas fryer into its component parts for easy cleaning. This feature makes cooking scampi a pleasure because you don’t have to worry about getting rid of all the “scraps”

I'm not entirely sure why you have designed the lid like this. Your description says it is a filter that stores oil for later use (not sure how that one works) and the lid makes for viewing food as it fries, yet the instructions provided say to NOT use the lid when frying. When setting up I plugged in to the same socket used by my previous fryer. It would not work for anything. I swapped it to the socket next to it and it worked. Not sure why it did that either but putting this my help someone else who may experience the same.

This is great. Easy to use, the temperature setting takes the anxiety out of frying. (I'm probably not the only one to have set the old fashioned fat frier on fire.) On my first use I also used my food thermometer to double check the temperature. It was fine. Use the directions on the packet if your using frozen chips, or use the directions supplied with the frier for potatoes. Sorry - I only use for chips so that's all I know.
