Millcreek Cacao Pure Heirloom Cacao Tea

Of the cacao teas I have tried thus far, this is my favorite. It's richer tasting than cacao teas comprised of only shells. Cacao tea is a great alternative to more caloric hot chocolate. It helps with chocolate cravings, but there's no question it isn't the same as hot chocolate if that's what you're going for.

I bought this as a less expensive replacement to some cacao tea that I got at a fancy tea shop at almost double the price. While the cacao tea from the tea shop is definitely better, this one is pretty good. Had I not tried "supreme quality" tea prior to this one, it would probably be a 5-star product. Sadly, now I'm spoiled. :-(

This is a finely ground mix of roasted cacao nibs and shells; I prefer the larger shells, which work better in a tea ball. I think this tea has a milder chocolatey taste. I bought this one because the other tea I would have bought was out of stock. In the end it is a matter of personal preference and taste though.

Excellent Cacao Heirloom tea. Let it brew for at least five minutes. The longer you brew the stronger the chocolate flavor. I drink a lot of different teas and this is one of my favorites.

I liked this tea. Couldn’t find my previous brand so tried this one. Very good.

Was pretty good taste wise but really pricey for how much you got.
