Yeti Tumbler Lid 30 , Spill Proof Lid and Splash Resistant Replacement Lid For Yeti Rambler ( Lid Only)

There are a bunch of these exact lids on here, so this one's nothing special (even though the excessively long title would have you believe otherwise). It does work just fine. Because of the tiny hole that keeps it from actually being spill-proof, it also whistles when I drink. I'm just going to cover the hole to stop that. If you remember to close the lid, it won't spill unless it's tipped far enough that the liquid can get to that little hole, which is "resistant", not "proof". It is pretty much splash proof though.

Definitely not spill or leak proof. Just splash proof. (If that's what you're looking for...) This was an awful buy. I wish companies would stop false advertising or rushing products out to the public before they perfect the prototype. As a consumer I am expecting that if I drop my tumbler that is filled with liquid that it will not leak or spill and this lid does exactly that. Leaks and Spill. I'm going back to my Yeti lid until Yeti creates their own version of the spill proof lid. I feel duped.

This lid was just what I was looking for. I didn't even mind the slight whistling sound some reviewers have mentioned. The lid didn't leak with slight tilts or tips. It was a bit difficult to clean, though, and having to remove the sliding cover to be able to clean underneath weakened it and also caused it to break --- after about 6 weeks of use. I don't think it was worth the cost, and will not be purchasing another or recommending to friends.

I would give this negative stars if Amazon would allow it. One of the worst lids that I could have ever bought. Could have bought cheaper ones that would have done the job far better than what this piece of junk did. From day one, one lid leaked, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt since it technically didn't spill. Then I tried out the second lid, my drink came pouring out like a faucet when I was testing this "spill proof" lid. The sliding piece alone was a horrible excuse for a cover. It was loose as crap, and when I was trying to wash it, one of the tabs broke rendering it useless. The one that poured out like a faucet wouldn't even stay on, I turned it upside down and it just fell off on its own.

Broke within a week of use. Fit was great and when it works it did seal well and prevented spills. However, I was washing it one evening and noticed that the sliding part seemed loose which it was actually falling off. I cannot remember if there was something on the bottom that attached to keep the tp piece from coming off. I would not buy again and actually have ordered one of the flip top type of lids. Many of these products are all made in the exact same plant just with different labeling and packaging. Have not reached out to the seller to see about a replacement or refund... figure it will likely be a waste of time anyways for $6-7.

Pros:Slider works well.Keeps drink from spilling or splashing.Does not leak.Cons:One slider tab broke after 2 weeks. Mind you I was very careful with it because the sliders feel fragile.The other tab broke about 4 weeks later. So, that's the end of use.

Great purchase, great snug fit for my 30oz. YETI. Even though it's designed for the use of a straw, I still wish there was a way to completely close the sliding closure all the way without leaving a gap when using a straw. Other than that, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Very cheaply made. It does leak and only lasted me a few months
