First, I would like to state that I rarely rarely rarely write a review.The install was easy. Looks good. All metal and glass aside from the plastic base. The lighting is OK but we were only using them for driveway markers at the road so we did not need a lot of light.One out of the pair lasted less than three months. I was able to swap bulbs back and forth between the two units to determine it is a bulb issue. These are specialty bulbs that can't be purchased anywhere. I attempted to disassemble the bulb to try to repair and its impossible without breaking them as the acrylic glass is mended to the base.Some of this cheap stuff on amazon is worth it. This is not. Now this China made amazon POS will end up in a land fill and polluting the earth.If you need something like this, I recommend purchasing a similar product from Lowe's or Home Depot so you at least get a 1 year warranty.

I love the Edison lamps enough that I have six of them. Three on my back deck and two on my front porch recently I had one of the bulbs crack and instead of replacing the bulb I ordered a new lamp. I don’t have a problem with that, but I had a problem with was way the box looked when it arrived.Seeing as how I ordered this from Amazon and not the Vincy lamps direct, the blame goes back on Amazon. Luckily, and I emphasize luckily, there was nothing wrong with the lamp itself.Well I was wrong. After 4 days in the slain and a new battery. Nothing. No light at all

I was so excited to put these solar lights on my new garden fence gate posts so imagine my disappointment when one of the light bulbs arrived broken. I promptly went to Amazon to order a replacement set but had to wait longer than the initial order. I guess I’ve gotten spoiled these days with Amazon’s usual 1-2 day delivery. Anyhow, the second set of lights arrived and the bulbs were intact! One thing to note on the product- I was surprised to find the pieces that attach to the fence posts were plastic and not metal. Also, the metal detail on one of the lights was a little jagged, not a clean cut. I turned that side to the back. Still functional, it just looked a little sloppy. I really didn’t want to have to wait another week for a replacement. All in all, the lights work as they are supposed to, they come on when it gets dark and turn off around 5:30am EST. I’ve only had them for a couple of weeks so I can’t speak for longevity. They look good on my garden gate and are bright enough to light up the entrance so I’m pretty content with my purchase.
