Exceeded my expectations
I purchased this mod expecting the cool factor to be greater than the practical factor and I didn't think I would use it that much. WRONG on both accounts.By FAR the best and most useful Moto Mod. The projector, unlike the camera, has its own battery supply so it will run a long time. But you can also charge both from the phones charging port so you can keep it connected to a power source for those binge movie nights. It also has a built-in fan to cool the bulb so it doesn't get hot.Pros: lightweight, easy to carry in your pocket (comes with a pouch). Respectable battery life. And once again if you charge the phone it charges the projector also. Pretty good image quality. I use it in my room and I get a 100" diagonal screen on my wall. I pair the phone with my Bose speakers and I'm transported to the theater. Impressive. I have also used it to project videos of the stars and galaxies on my ceiling at night (I got major points for that!). I've used it while traveling and it comes in handy.Cons: the larger the picture, the greater the color loss. Now that can be remedied by projecting it on a projector screen. But on its own there is loss but well worth it. A worthy trade-off. Everytime you want to pause or rewind you have to grab the phone. This can be remedied with a Bluetooth remote control for Android (cheap).Summary: overall a great mod that exceeds my expectations on quality, cool factor and practicality. And at the discounted price of $150 it's a no brainier.

Worth the price.
This is the best Moto Mod available. I have 5 of the mods in total. The battery life of the projector is good and so is the picture. I believe it's 720p quality, but it's definitely HD. The mod feels very high quality to the touch. I got it discounted, but I think it was worth it at the original MSRP for those with the money. It auto corrects based on the angle you have it at like full-sized projectors so you don't have to worry about a distorted or misshapen wall image. I've had it for about a year. It's still working great, and it came with a small fabric bag that protects it if you carry it with you. I use that bag to carry both my projector and battery mod from the Moto Z3. It's a durable product overall, so I can't imagine how anyone could damage it beyond functional unintentionally, other than long drops. And anyone who says it's a con that you can't use your phone for anything needs to spend more time away from the smartphone and learn how to live without it for at least the duration of a movie. The point of the mods is to transform your phone by adding a cool feature to your phone that's easy to operate. Connecting the mod requires no other step or pairing process like Bluetooth. If what you really want is a standard projector or in the case of the speaker Moto Mod a Bluetooth speaker (because you want to use your phone for something else too), then you missed the point of the mods. This mod will project whatever is on your phone screen. Why you'd want to do something else on your phone besides project whatever you're showing also is beyond me. The point is to project what's on the phone. This includes Netflix and most other apps. Some apps block screen projection, like the Spectrum app and some others. This product is worth the money, and so was the speaker for that matter.

Tiny projector, big picture!
I don't write reviews often, but this little toy deserves one. I was hesitant to purchase this because I just didn't believe such a tiny projector would be all that spectacular. But I read the reviews that all praised it and took a leap. Wow! This little thing is great. I started propping it up on my headboard and projecting onto the ceiling. It has a cool feature that auto corrects for the projection angle so the picture maintains a rectangular shape and doesn't turn into a trapezoid. I have a cute little Bose Bluetooth speaker that adds great sound. Then we tried projecting across the living room onto the wallpaper. Not ideal, but the picture was decent. My husband was so impressed that he replaced his worn out iPhone with a Z4 so he can use this now too. This works great for us because we ditched the satellite TV, and stream everything through our phones. The Smart TV was sapping the high speed hotspot data pretty fast, especially now that we are all (4 of us) working from home. This projector lets us watch on a big screen without draining that hotspot data. So then I ordered a cheap 100" screen off Walmart online, sorry Amazon, but it was a better deal and promised faster shipping. Anyway, the picture from this little projector, blown up to that 100" screen is impressive. I'll post a photo if I can figure out how. The only thing I don't really care for is that it's hard to feel/find the focus adjustment in the dark. Well worth the $$!

Almost perfect...
Works very well. Image is bright, provided the room is fairly dim. I was expecting to be disappointed but it really is a nice little projector.2 cons: and they're related so maybe 1+ conBattery life/size, which is why I rated it 4 stars vs. 5. It's already bulky with the internal battery so a bigger battery would obviously just add to its size. My battery lasts maybe 30 minutes unless plugged in. That's not much time when fully charged.Overall, worth the price for me and I'd buy it again. Picture quality really impressed me for a projector that fits on your phone!
