These things look like a terrible value at first but believe me..if you have mice you need to seal up them weep holes or you will get nowhere fast.I first tried copper wool and while it did work to plug up the weep holes, the eventual corrosion would lead me to re-plug the holes and plus it looked a little ratchet.This looks alot better and they will last a lifetime. Just get em and also get a few glue traps - these 2 things will solve your mouse problem.

It takes some work to chisel out the excess mortar and cut the screens to size. After I did about 10 I got the hang of it. One hole was much wider and I used 2 screens side by side. A few holes were largely blocked by down spouts and AC cables that wouldn’t allow placement of screens, so I’ll have to block those with copper mesh. Hopefully they won’t rust. Not sure they’ll keep out yellow jackets; if not I will have to spray between the screen slats.

I have 134 weep holes! I see bees flying in and out, I see lizards so who knows what else is in the wall. These things are very well made - some go in really easy, some take some work to remove some mortar so they will fit. But I feel better knowing that nothing of any size is getting in the gap between the brick and sheathing.

...it's time to get these ASAP, which is exactly what happened to us. NO, NO, NO! It does take a bit of work to get them in some holes since weep holes aren't all the same size but it's definitely worth you.I suggest you couple it with copper mesh to deter even many bugs and such.

Good tension hold. Trimmable to size needed. Pretty sharp sides... be careful.
