Large,heavy plain Jane hinges. Well made. Toss the tiny screws that come in the package and get 1/4 lag screw/bolts. Holds my two 8 ft gates no problem.

The reason I graded this product as "so so" is because the screws that accompanied the product are pretty much worthless. They broke and our shredded upon installation. A visit to ACE hardware for new screws solved that issue.

Broke within 2 months
The load of the gate should have been 54.5 lbs, as calculated by standard fence pickets, and the hinges are rated at 55lbs, but were breaking under that load in less than 2 months and replaced.
