I like that these aren't as sweet as some of the others I have tried. I don't like sweet drinks much in general, but also don't need to add a bunch of sweetener, natural or otherwise, to my water. I'd rather taste the water. So I also like that the flavor of these is pretty light and doesn't try to turn my water into juice or something it isn't. The coconut flavor is not my favorite, but the others are good.

These are good flavors & keep you hydrated

Had a very real coconut flavor not artificial so it taste more like drinking coconut water from a bottle. Doesn't hydrate me as much as liquid iv but I always keep these on hand just in case. Make sure you read the description. The box didn't last as long as I was hoping, had to put 3 in my tumbler vs 1 liquid iv. BUT these are great is you like the little mini water bottles.

Powder doesn’t dissolve and the flavors are gross

I bought the Citrus flavor. I do not like the flavor. The citrus flavor is my major complaint about the SOS. So much so that I have a problem drinking a sufficient amount of "hydrated" water a day. I know about dehydration in my body, since I have a medical condition that requires me to have 3 liters a week of saline intravenously (IV). The SOS website states "SOS is as effective as an IV Drip for combatting mild to moderate dehydration". Granted my dehydration problem is worse than mild but I had hoped for even a slight improvement in my blood test numbers. For the past couple of weeks, I have been drinking at least 16 ounces of water with SOS in it. This is in addition to continuing the IV hydration. My blood testing does not show any improvement in my hydration test. So, I cannot attest to the difference between SOS and other hydration products. I can tell you that at least a few others have a much better taste.

I tried this product once because I heard about it a lot from the running community. I've had a few instances where SOS has saved my run. Whether it's hydrating to make my 18+ mile long runs feel like 7 mile runs, or the quick rehydration after a race or a long run, you can definitely feel SOS doing its job. I had a 10mile run one day where I didn't take SOS prior but 3 miles in I felt sluggish and tired running 7:15pace. So I went back to my car put 2 packets in a water, gave it 5mins to do its thing and went back out. The 7:15s turned to 6:40s and it felt comfortable. This is where I became a believer. Ever since I've taken SOS I've PRed in 3 distances in 2016. (5k 15:22, 5 miles 24:54, Marathon 2:39:19). I'm not saying SOS is 100% the reason why but I wasn't running these times when I wasn't taking SOS. The factors that make up SOS are key for staying hydrated and for helping out immensely with the rehydration process. Just like the Boston Marathon, I'll be taking it prior, during (its a 2 loop course) and after the Baystate marathon in October as I shoot for sub 2:30. The professional and Olympic athlete backing should speak enough about this product. If you want to be the best you have to train like the best and SOS is on their list. They have a user for life in me and I'll continue to recommend this product to all my friends and athletes. I use SOS for every workout, long run, race, and just if I need something more then water. For those who say it's too pricey is absurd, for $18-20 you get 20 packets which is anywhere from 10-20 drinks. So anywhere from $1-$2 a drink, where gatorade us $2 and up per drink (also filled with some junk along with good ingredients) for that price it's at least worth a shot. You would be disappointed! It's awesome stuff!

I don't do soft drinks, I might drink a soda a month. I do drink a whole lot of water though, especially when I'm driving that's what I do for a job. So this is a nice change.All the flavors are rather subtle. What I taste when I first set this, is salt. Then sweet, and at the back end comes the flavor.Bought the variety pack because I wanted to sample all their flavors and they're all pretty good. But the coconut is a little odd, if you ever wondered what Panama Jack and banana boat suntan lotion would taste like it's probably that. It really isn't a taste, to speak of, but more of an essence. If that makes any sense at all.I like them and I'll buy them again. And for the price you really can't go wrong to try them.

When my package was delivered, the driver left it on my steps in the pouring rain. The box was mailed in one of those plastic mailer bags. The driver did not put the package in one of the thin clear plastic “trash” bags most delivery services use for weather protection. The package was only sitting on my steps for six minutes. In that time water did penetrate the plastic mailer. The little paperboard box the drink mix satchets come in from the manufacturer was wet. I reached out to Amazon customer service and at the time I hadn’t opened one of the drink mixes yet. I assumed they were fine, because the satchets are a foil/plastic material, but I was upset about how there was no protection provided against the rain. When I opened the first drink mix a couple days later it was all congealed into a thick paste. I don’t know if this is the fault of the moisture from being in the rain or a defect on the manufacturer’s end.That said, I had been trying to still use them by scraping it out with a spoon and mixing it up in a shaker cup. The issue with this is I can’t avoid getting tiny flecks of metallic plastic mixed in too. I can’t continue to do that as I don’t think it’s safe to ingest that.Before I noticed the flecks, I was intrigued by the flavor. It’s almost reminiscent of a flavored coconut water. I would like to try them again sometime but I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle.

Was unsure whether this product would be worth it as the reviews were definitely all different and for the price I was a bit sceptical.I have POTS and so need to keep hydrated to avoid fainting so thought one of these at the start of the day would help great.Ordered the watermelon flavour and honesty, it’s not nice. It’s not the worst but i have to down it all at once for it to be tolerable. But it has helped so much! I don’t feel faint at all which I did feel on just water alone. I take one every morning and continue with plenty of water throughout the day, really works!EDIT: I purchased a sample pack on the official SOS website which has two of every flavour as wanted to see what the most tolerable flavour was. For me it was the berry so if you’re unsure of what flavour and don’t want to pay for the sample, I’d pick that one.I’ve come to the conclusion that these will never taste great or like a ‘regular’ drink. But if you drink all at once it’s not bad and it actually helps me so I’m not fussed!I also do think it’s worth the price, I take one a day, so you’re getting 20 days out of one box which is not a bad price when it really helps stop you fainting.

As someone who struggles to keep up my fluid intake, I decided to try this product. This is truely a great product. Exactly as described, tastes fantastic and keeps you hydrated for ages! 10/10 will be buying more of this product in the future

This is even better than the Mango.Anyone clever enough to look past the sugar-filled sport drinks of the world will appreciate the quality of electrolyte formula. Taste will not disappoint.

Berry are good

These have saved me many times after long flights and late nights! A little weird to taste, but they really work, especially if you measure the water ratio precisely. Worth having in case of emergency!
