I had bought the wired one (AVD1001) first since I had a working doorbell but the voltage in my transformer was not sufficient. Rather than finding, buying, and installing a new transformer, I bought this model. It works like a charm! It even charges the battery with my low (8V) doorbell transformer. No need to ever take it off and charge it which is WONDERFUL! Integrates easliy with Alexa and with my arlo base. Announces on my Alexa speakers that someone is at the door and I also get a a call on my phone.

Note that this product is not compatible with ARLO or ORBI routers since it works only with a 2.4GHz WiFi. Even it can't sync with the Arlo's own VMB5000 basestation which is purely meant for syncing their cameras. Once your ORBI is out of warranty - the Tech Support of Netgear company will give you all kind of crap. I gave one star since no 0 star option is available.

El tiempo entre que contesto el teléfono y la conexión con el aparato es aprox de 20 segundos. La red wifi junto al timbre es muy sólida. Pareciera que es un tema con la app. El tema es que no ha cumplido su función. Lo cambiaré por Eufy
