I wanted these for furniture dowelling but they are undersized and produce a sloppy fit- no good for alignment.I measured them with a micrometer- only 5.8mm. The Mafell ones I have been using are 6.02mm and produce a nice tight fit.

Arrived quickly, but the quality of some of the dowels wasn't great. I'm sure I've got enough for my current needs, but some will be unusable ☹️

Not much to talk about with dowels, they do the job they are intended for very well. I used them to install an outdoor 5G antenna on the brick wall of my house.Once i had installed the actual receiver, I drilled many holes in the brick slightly smaller and slightly longer than the dowels themselves so that the dowels were inset in the wall once fully in and then i sealed the hole with a little brick coloured silicon so the wood doesnt rot. I then fed the antenna cable past every point and nailed a cable clip into each one. This allowed me to get the best finish for my job rather than nailing into grout or trying it on with brick.No complaints, the dowels were all even, symmetrical and exactly the size they were supposed to be. Ill be ordering again!
