Nice inexpensive way to play the old favorites

The thing works fine, nice vintage feel on the startup and graphics. Has some weirdness when you start playing a game that I don't remember with a real atari where you have to press the start button once a game has begun to exit the "demo" mode. The console does feel a little light and cheap, though I supposed they could have fit the whole thing onto a flash drive if they wanted to... Joysticks feel durable enough as do the cords.

i just received the atari flashback 3 today and it works only at the most 5 minutes and then quit. i just send the game back. save your money and time and just do not buy this atari. the idea is good but the quality of the unit is very poor. for the price it should work longer than 5 minutes

Not only was I waaaaaaaaay overcharged by buying it online from some rip-off company out of Toledo, OH thinking I wouldn't be able to get my hands on one in a store but then we plug it in to find out it doesn't even have the majority of the good atari games like pac-man, frogger, pitfall, stampede.....but then it freezes and malfunctions just as often as the original atari from the 80's did lol and I'm sure the possibility of returning it for my $ is probably out of the question, that is if I could even find the company I bought it from................Figures!

We all had a decent time with this.I remember having fun with a lot of these games; but now they just seem average. I wish there was a way to download some more games or connect some other games from that era into this thing. The fact that you're stuck with the games preloaded into it without the ability to load or change some of the titles makes it very limited in the amount of fun you could have.If you're looking to relive some of the fun you had with the original 2600 system, you may be disappointed. If you simply want to show your kids how far gaming systems have come, you'll have a decent time with this.
