Could be slightly better (by 60 grams)
The product description states, "... specifically designed for Contact Juggling". Play makes this (100mm) ball in two weights - 200 grams and 260 grams. A little on-line research will reveal that the 260 gram ball is the one specifically designed for Contact Juggling. This ball is 200 grams. The seller states this in the Customer questions and answers section. The ball I received weighs 200 grams. The heavier ball is probably better for contact juggling. But, with Prime shipping, I received the ball in a couple of days and started bustin' moves (and so far, nothing else). At this point in my juggling career I can't say that the 60 gram difference is holding me back. It's nice to have something to work with until my Play 100mm SIL-X arrives (300 grams). Then it's on to 100mm Acrylic (664 grams).

Disgustingly overpriced
I thought this was supposed to be for contact juggling and thought that the weight would be good. It is so light that it’s impossible to learn. If you tried to use this and then upgrade to an acrylic ball you would not be able to lift the acrylic one. This is so light and full of air which makes it too bouncy to learn properly. Not to mention You can buy a ball exactly like this at f Walmart for less than five dollars. IMO it should be more solid.

Great ball for practicing.
Great ball for practicing and learning contact juggling. None of us had ever tried it before and using this ball were able to start getting it. The great thing was that if you drop the ball it just softly hits the ground and does not make a loud noise or dent anything or get damaged. Nice size ball for adults. We are going to work out way up to the acrylic ball.

PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS!
Some folks say this ball is too light... but, I do NOT agree with that!... They probably are comparing it to the heavier silicone filled ball, or the even HEAVIER clear acrylic ball. Both of those are for more advanced folks and probably even necessary in weight for certain advanced tricks, but for the beginner just approaching very simple contact juggling, I think this ball is about as perfect as it gets. And also, just a little tip here for practitioners experiencing the ball to be a little bit "sticky" sometimes, try keeping a little container of "corn starch" handy... as just a little sprinkle on your hands to rub on the ball can work wonders!

Almost the same but good practice.
I was expecting g this to be the same or at least closer in weight to its acrylic counterpart. I stil like it though because it’s good for indoor practice with a much lesser risk than the acrylic ball of breaking stuff. It’s good practice — just make sure you get the “real” ball. And watch your toes with that one.

Good ball
Tried learning contact juggling with a tennis ball. Quickly moved over to the stage ball, and am having much better success.
