Great product, I purchased 3 sets each individually and as I needed to expand my indoor growing for large 2'x4' 8 bulb grow lights & fan systems. Very solid ratcheting system with no issues on the weight needed. I will purchase these as needed moving forward. Top notch. Little expensive however, Should be $15 per set.

This unit works great and the plants seem to be doing well. I'm growing micro greens and they appear healthy. With regular fluorescent lights, you see the "green" of the plant but with these everything looks pink. That's different but as long as they work, it's all good. I'll but doing some hydroponic lettuce after the greens. Gives of very little heat as well. Great purchase.Edit: Oops, I made a mistake here. I was reviewing an LED light. This clips are great, however. I'd give them a 5 star.

These are awesome if you have grow lights over your fast growing plants. I sometime feel like my tomato plants double their size overnight so these are like light nannies, they closely follow every step of you veggie babies.I also used them to hang light decor in a professional theatre show. They're perfect to adjust the height in a pinch! You just have to convince the technical director of the venue that they are safe because they are not legally rated. But, trust me, I'm an engineer (ok, a sound engineer...) But, hey, they can hold a surprising fair share of weight. I tested it over 100 representations and they never failed me.

Hydroshops charge $15-20 for the cheap plastic ones. These metal ones are only $12 and are so much better. I would never hang 150 lbs. from the plastic hangers and am even apprehensive at 30 lbs with some LED's, but with these metal ones I do not sweat it. You can instantly see and feel the difference when you use them and I am kicking myself for buying about 8 pairs of the plastic ones for nearly $150 when I could have got these for under $100.No better hangers out there for both quality and price.

Works as designed however only giving 3 stars due to the fact the carabiners are small and therefore you have to loop the rope through them to wrap around a mounting post. Only downside to that is the metal carabiner is sharp and the rope is already showing signs of fraying from putting the rope through.Updating my review to 2 stars: pretty junky after using for a few months, the string binds up in the gears which makes the ease of use go away when your forced to unjam the thing every time you want to adjust anything.
