Thinner than home stlye but good hangover chow
Almost authentic. I couldn't think of what was "missing" with this until I realized it was the hangover (this was my go-to cure 25 years ago). There was a different brand that was thicker, more like you will get Saturday morning only at a SoCal Mexican cafe.If you remember those daze of your youth but live in South Florida like me now, the only place to get the real thing that I know of is a little Mexican deli in Belle Grade. Ask anyone - there's only one. Menudo is still a Saturday and Sunday only menu item here tho...

Four Stars
It tastes just as good as other name brands that cost double the amount.

Can't afford the --"FREE"-- shipping
I have been buying this product by the dozen cans or more for years, in order to get the shipping down out of the ozone, where it is out of my price range. Now with the --"FREE"-- shipping, I can no longer afford the product. Excellent menudo. Beautiful fragrance, tripe cut small and exactly the taste I became accustomed to in Las Cruces, New Mexico and El Paso Texas, but the --"FREE"-- shipping has me fleeing to Goya.

Lesser known, MUCH tastier canned Menudo.
I get the menudo craving every once and awhile, but the restaurants only serve it on the weekends and we usually eat everything I cook before I can freeze any of it. So, in a pinch, I go for the canned stuff. I tried Juanita's Menudo and gagged the first time I tried it. Then, I tried Juanita's menudo again, but doctored it up with radishes, oregano, lime, and onions. It was palatable. One day I found the Pico Pica on my grocer's shelf, so I tried it. Yippeee!!! Finally, a canned menudo that isn't smelly and doesn't taste like it came out of a can. I still "doctor it up", but the cool thing is that in a pinch, I don't have to. I prefer Pico Pica's Menudo so much to the Juanita's menudo, the dominant brand carried in the stores. I can't find the Pico Pica locally anymore, so I am happy to have found it on Amazon.
