Very sturdy, easy to read, value for money and accurate. I checked the angle with an engineers square and found the reading to be within .01 of a degree angle. Great for my purposes. I was expecting a stainless steel rule however the rule of this version is plastic but nice not cheap tat.

Ideal size for the work I do, Robust and Good quality, I’ve used the angle finders often, pleased with the accuracy outputs. The only minor gripe observed is the readout has a tendency to reset or randomly highlighting a sporadic high value numbers. To overcome, I just close the ruler together and reset to zero and do over.

Very useful for taking angles saved me hours on a big project and good to have in your toolbox

I had to replace gravel boards that border a zig zag gravel path. I wanted to trim the ends of each board so that they butted together neatly. That meant measuring the angle from one board to the next, dividing by two and using the result to set the angle on my circular saw.I has no idea a digital tool like this even existed, I was searching expecting to buy something manual.This could not have been better. Dead simple, nice clear display, made the whole job easy and less error prone.

Not hugely happy with this purchase. Price was quite reasonable but I do have a few gripes:1) The battery in the unit was DOA. Totally flat. But that could possibly be caused by...2) When the unit is off, If the blades are moved even a fraction of a degree, it turns itself on. Which begs the question: why? It has an on/off button - I don't want the pesky thing turning on unless I say so. If this happens in transit enough times, the battery is bound to go flat.3) With the blades fully spread (i.e. at 180 degrees) they are NOT in a straight line. If you place the blade with the digital gauge mounted on it on a flat surface and open the other blade fully to 180 degrees, the inner end of that blade does not touch the surface - only the far end tip does. This means you can't start from a fully open position (180 degrees) then zero the unit and move one blade to measure an angle up from the horizontal. The two blades pivot on a single shared spline, but this is clearly not precisely centred on both blades. Not ideal for something marketed as a precision instrument.

I have been meaning to get something like this for ages for use in the workshop - setting blade angles and layout lines. I've had good experiences with Preciva tools in the past so I thought I would give this one a try as it wasn't too expensive. I have to say that I'm very pleased with it. The friction lock feels nice and robust and the angle measurement when offered up to my try square and engineers square was absolutely spot on, so I'm very happy indeed. That it came with a spare battery is a nice touch.

Actually looks a good product. Stable and accurate.My concern is that the video states that it is made in Germany. The packaging is clearly marked Made in China.Would have like a box or pouch to keep it safe.
