This is a great tasting seasoning and it’s very spicy….but not so spicy hot that it takes over the flavor of what your seasoning.If you like spicy seasoning; Julio’s “Freakin Hot” seasoning is the best. You can only get this at the Julio’s Factory Store or on Amazon. If you can’t get to Del Rio, Texas….get it on Amazon. Once you use it…. you’ll be hooked. It’s very good. Right now it’s a hidden secret… but before long the word will get out and this will be sold out and hard to find. Get it while you can !

This stuff is awesome. I had the pleasure of getting a few bags of Julio’s freaking hot tortilla chips and absolutely loved them. The only problem is they are not available here at home so this is the next best thing. I sprinkle this on regular tortilla chips for an extra kick. Also works good on popcorn, French fries or anything else you would put salt on and want some extra flavor with great heat. If you love hot stuff, you need this.

A long time ago when Freakin' Hot tortilla chips first came out, they were amazing, the chips were well coated and at the end of the bag you would have like like half a tablespoon of the seasoning down in the bottom of the bag. However, as time went on, perhaps to save money or perhaps because people found them too hot, they reduced the amount of seasoning they used on the chips. This, unfortunately, made the chips less spicy, and left you without the ability to get ramp up the last few chips by dredging them in the plentiful seasoning in the bottom of the bag. I was sad when they changed the amount of seasoning they used.However, this fixes that! Yes, its more expensive this way, and it sucks that I need to add their own seasoning to their own chips to restore them back to their former glory, but its a monetary sacrifice I am willing to make!
