My horse with arthritis is walking again! She is a picky eater so it takes her a while to eat it but she does eat it with cob threeway. Love to see her walking again

We've been using Arthrisoothe Gold for our 14-year-old shepherd/collie mix (~50lbs), ever since our local holistic pet store owner recommended it (he uses it for his aging shepherds).Since we started using this product, there has been a noticeable improvement in our dog's mobility. She took the dog formula at first, and we have worked our way up to the horse formula (slightly stronger) the older she's gotten. Her stiffness noticeably increases if she doesn't get her Arthrisoothe Gold that day.One attribute that I think causes this product to stand out from most other joint-rescue-type supplements is that it not only eases pain caused by arthritis, extensive exercise or stiff joints, it also helps to rebuild damaged cartilage and tissue. I've yet to find another product that does that.If you have a pet suffering from arthritis or stiff joints, I would highly recommend discussing this product with your vet or local pet store owner (and/or trying it for awhile), to determine whether it would benefit your pet.

I have a horse with stinghalt - I don’t expect this this fix it, but I was hoping for more range of motion and comfortabilty for her and this didn’t help.

We have 2 St Bernards & because of their size this product goes a lot further than the products for dogs. There's no flavor so the dogs don't even know it's in their food!

We have two horses; an 8 year old TB and a 17 year old Appaloosa. The TB had creaky joints from the moment we brought him home. Then, after buying the Appaloosa, we decided a maintenance program would be in his (and our) best interests, even though he didn't exhibit symptoms of joint discomfort.After online research and conversations at the local feed stores, we went with Arthrisoothe. The first two days, the horses weren't too sure about it, but now they gobble it down as though it's candy. After six months of continuous use, our TB NEVER creaks or pops anymore...amazing, if you ask me! And our (now) 18 year old hasn't shown any signs/sounds of joint problems at all.For us, it's well worth the money.(FYI...we know of several feed store employees with arthritis who take this stuff themselves...and swear by it. Gross, certainly, but it's at least a testimonial from someone who can actually speak.)

My horse has severe post traumatic arthritis in one knee. He is on this supplement and also Previcox daily. His prognosis was poor and he was not supposed to be ridable by now. If he has any pain at all, it might be mild. He is cantering around his field on his own will and looks happy. He wasn't lame the whole last year. If I ride him on hard surface (which I almost never do) I can feel him a bit off on that leg, but my vet is saying that it might be "mechanical" lameness because that leg bends only half way. I ride him lightly and regularly on trails (walk, trot, canter). He likes to run, so I have to hold him back and let him do it only uphill, so he doesn't trip and fall. With that amount of arthritis, he is doing surprisingly. I also got Old Mac G2 boots that decrease concussion on joints. I myself have mild arthritis and using a human version of the same type of supplement, and it works as well as Ibuprofen for me. I also read about its similar effectiveness in clinical studies, so, even though my horse is also on Previcox, I have no doubts that this supplement has a significant effect too. Plus, unlike NSAIDs, it has longer effect, so if my guy misses his dose of Previcox, this stuff still covers him.

I would rate it as a 5 star, but it's still too early in the use of it to tell if it's what is making the difference in our horse's temperament. She has been acting like a golden girl, willing to do what she is asked without surprises, but we don't know if it's the weather, we had a long cold winter so she was shut in a lot, or that she has really benefited from this product. I know that it is good for her and that goes a long way in maintaining her health and keeping her joints pain free. We like the squeeze bottle too. It makes measuring it out easy. She doesn't balk at the flavor so that gives it another star because she can be picky. Overall, I believe it is making a difference and I am glad to have found such a wonderful supplement for our girl!

I bought this for my 5 year old black lab. He has hip and joint issues. This stuff works great, and is so much less expensive then the canine versions. He loves the taste also, I just add to his food.
