I bought these to buy loose vegetables like onions etc ...really helpful. And I particularly like the different sizes which makes things easier to choose in the store and then store in the fridge once home..Will definitely buy again .

Now that stores no longer provide single use bags for vegetables, it makes sense to carry your own. These are excellent quality, lightweight and durable. Can be washed and dry very quickly. I've recommended them to friends as we all need them.

These mesh bags are extremely handy for shopping where you want to buy your fruit and veg loose.Some shops do sell mesh bags but you have to point out that they arent just picked up that shopping trip else it is possible to be charged again for previously bought bags.These are suitable for food stuffs and not mistakable for the ones the majority of supermarkets sell .They are made of white net stuff like nylon net curtain material.The pull cords are 2mm thick and feel a bit flimsy.The coloured sleeve holding the cord at the top of each bag feels almost papery and the hole that the cord is threaded through is just a hole with no edge finish or gromet reinforcementThere are 3 sizes and 6 bags,2 of each sizeDimensions are17" x 11 1/2" Blue edge and pull cord14" x 11 1/2" Green Edge and pull cord8" x 11 1/2" Red Edge and pull cordAll the bags close with draw strings with a locking toggleThe dimensions are a little elusive as when the draw string is tightened to close the bag, you lose about 3" meaning your 17 inch bag is then 14" tall x 11 1/2 when closed etcHowever that is still a goodly size for most fruit and veg.The smallest when closed will hold a couple of cooking apples or 3 large onions etcThe medium would hold A large cabbage or a couple of pineapplesThe largest would hold 2 kg of carrots or 5lbs of spudsI suppose you could use them in the washing machine to keep things together or save them from getting snagged etc but I dont believe they are as secure with the draw string closures as they would be if they had zips as the toggles dont hold them tightly closed .Not very durableAt just over £1 each, they seem rather expensive

Super light, mesh draw string bags, 3 different sizes.Mesh is thin but seems quite strong.The draw string stopper (black bit) is very tight, so WILL keep bag closed shut.These are good for many things, but im unsure how much weight they could handle.They have marked on a tag of each bag, what each bags weigh. good for putting my boys clothes in, so kept seperate from other things in a bag, and so i dont have to fumble around trying to find another sock or pants... ideas: going to beach, swimming, spare set of clothes for potty training etc.Great price.
